Shakers Cigar Bar & Hangman Tours is a small business in Milwaukee, WI. Located in Milwaukee’s historic and critically-acclaimed Walker’s Point neighborhood. We have offered patrons an unique and unforgettable savoir-fare for decades. Sitting atop what was once a cemetery, this former cooperage operated as a speakeasy and brothel during Prohibition under the ownership of the legendary Capone brothers.

Proudly serving a myriad of local, national and international guests since 1986, our mission has always been to provide high-quality fare, libations, and cigars for those that wish to combine a fun and enjoyable ambiance with authentic worldly cooking, exquisite service, and an unparalleled list of vintage spirits and wine into one extraordinary experience.

Whether it be our live band performances, one of our 5 quirky, guided historic and ghost tours, or an overnight stay in our brothel-turned-Airbnb, we strive to be so much more than just a “bar”, and see to it that each of our guests is captivated and enthralled the moment they walk through our doors.

What We're Looking For

As a successful historic operation in business for over three decades, we require a detail-oriented professional with high standards and a focus on growing an already thriving business.

Successful candidate must have the following criteria:
A minimum 5 years experience in running successful upscale Food &
Beverage operations.
References are required and have exceptional organizational skills.
Experience with the guided Tour industry in an Historic Property is a plus.
Experience with Cigar Sales is a plus.
Must be a full-time, hands-on manager.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Staff Scheduling
Staff education
Staff liaison for a team of three dozen adults.
HR
Customer Relations
Liaison with City officials
Liaison with Our Legal and Accounting offices.
Ability to interact seamlessly with our Marketing Manager.
Ability to excel at public speaking and to have experience doing video news interviews.
Ability to coordinate with our YouTube Chanel products.
Ability to coordinate with our Merchandise line.
Event Sales for four floors of property.
Daily sales reconciliation
Daily monitoring of Labor Costs
Inventory
Vendor meetings
Vendor ordering
Marketing meetings
Ability to identify special needs
Ability to strategize for seasonal events and special promotions
Project manager for special projects or ability to hire for those projects
Passport suggested.
An accredited degree is preferred.

Salary is open for discussion.
