Rhode Island does not require a state-issued license to work in global talent acquisition, so entry centers on education and demonstrated recruiting experience. Most Rhode Island employers expect a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or communications, and increasingly prefer candidates who hold the SHRM-CP or PHR credential. Building experience through campus recruiting programs at institutions like Brown University, URI, or Bryant University gives early-career candidates a credible local foundation.
How much do global talent acquisitions make in Rhode Island?
Global talent acquisitions in Rhode Island earn a median of about $77,560 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $51,270 for the lowest 10% to over $128,250 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire global talent acquisitions in Rhode Island?
Companies currently hiring global talent acquisitions in Rhode Island include Fidelity Investments, Gilbane, and Senior Helpers, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Which Rhode Island cities have the most global talent acquisition jobs?
Providence, Smithfield, and Pawtucket have the most global talent acquisition openings in Rhode Island. Providence drives the largest share because it is home to major healthcare networks, financial services firms, and multiple universities, while Woonsocket reflects CVS Health's significant corporate recruiting footprint and Warwick benefits from its proximity to T.F.
