Chiropractor Green Card Jobs
Chiropractor roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the position. State licensure, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and a verified job offer are the core requirements sponsors need before filing.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Chiropractor
Verify your DC degree meets PERM standards
PERM requires your Doctor of Chiropractic degree to match the minimum requirements stated in the job offer. If you trained outside the U.S., confirm your credentials through a NACES-recognized evaluation service before any employer begins the labor certification process.
Secure state licensure before targeting sponsors
Every U.S. state requires a current chiropractic license before you can practice. Sponsors filing a PERM application for a licensed role will list licensure as a minimum requirement, so obtaining or transferring your license upfront removes a major obstacle for willing employers.
Target multi-location clinic groups and health systems
Multi-site chiropractic groups and integrated health systems sponsor green cards more reliably than solo practices, which rarely have HR infrastructure for PERM filings. Focus your search on employers with in-house legal or HR teams already familiar with employment-based sponsorship.
Search green-card-sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter chiropractic job listings by employers with active green card sponsorship history. This cuts through postings where sponsorship is ambiguous and surfaces roles where the PERM pipeline is already familiar to the hiring team.
Understand the prevailing wage before negotiating your offer
DOL sets the prevailing wage for your role based on location and experience level using the OFLC Wage Search. Your employer's PERM filing must offer at least this wage, so check the current rate for your target city before entering salary discussions.
Clarify EB-2 versus EB-3 classification with your sponsor early
Most chiropractic roles qualify under EB-3 as professionals with a baccalaureate-level equivalent degree, but employers offering positions requiring advanced clinical specialization may file under EB-2. Confirming the intended category before PERM recruitment begins avoids rework if the job description needs adjustment.

Find Chiropractor JobsChiropractor Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a chiropractic role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Chiropractic positions typically qualify under EB-3 as professional roles requiring a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which USCIS treats as the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate. EB-2 sponsorship is possible if the position genuinely requires an advanced degree or the employer can demonstrate the role demands significantly more than the standard DC qualification. Confirm the classification with your sponsoring employer before PERM recruitment begins.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for chiropractors?
Unlike the H-1B, EB-3 green card sponsorship has no annual lottery and leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary status that must be renewed. The tradeoff is a longer timeline: PERM labor certification, I-140 approval, and adjustment of status or consular processing can take two to four years or more depending on your country of birth. The H-1B requires an employer petition each cycle and carries uncertainty; the EB-3 path, once started, moves toward permanence.
What does the PERM process require specifically for chiropractic roles?
Your employer must conduct DOL-prescribed recruitment, including job postings and newspaper advertisements, to prove no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. The job description must list only the minimum requirements actually needed, which for chiropractic roles typically means a DC degree and state licensure. Any inflated or non-standard requirements can trigger a DOL audit, so the position description needs careful drafting before the recruitment window opens.
How do I find employers willing to sponsor a green card for a chiropractor role?
Search for chiropractic positions on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by employers with documented green card sponsorship activity. Integrated health networks, hospital-affiliated clinics, and large multi-site practices are the most consistent sponsors because they already have legal and HR teams experienced with PERM filings. Solo or small private practices rarely have the infrastructure to manage the process.
Does state licensure affect the green card sponsorship timeline for chiropractors?
Yes. Because chiropractic practice requires active state licensure, most employers won't begin PERM recruitment until you hold or are eligible for a license in the target state. Some states have lengthy licensing backlogs or require additional examinations for internationally trained graduates. Starting the licensure process early, ideally before you have a firm job offer, prevents delays that push back the entire PERM filing timeline.
