In June 2025, Crane announced our intent to acquire Precision Sensors & Instrumentation (“PSI”), a leading provider of sensor-based technologies for aerospace, nuclear and process industries, from Baker Hughes. The $1.1 billion acquisition will add roughly $400 million in sales and 1,700 associates to Crane. PSI includes the Druck, Panametrics, and Reuter-Stokes brands that manufacture instrumentation and sensor-based technologies to detect and analyze pressure, flow, gas, moisture, and radiation across various industries, serving customers in more than 90 countries. Crane is so excited for the planned welcome of these brands into our portfolio and the role they will play in continuing to drive profitable growth for the company.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Contracts Manager
Document your contract management credentials early
Gather degree transcripts, professional certifications like CPCM or CFCM, and performance reviews that validate your specialty. PERM requires your employer to define minimum qualifications that match your actual background, so mismatches between your credentials and the job description can stall certification.
Target industries with active PERM filing histories
Defense contractors, construction firms, and IT services companies routinely sponsor Contracts Manager roles under EB-3. Search DOL PERM disclosure data by SOC code 13-1023 to identify which employers have successfully certified this exact occupation in recent fiscal years.
Verify prevailing wage before accepting an offer
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the prevailing wage for Contracts Manager in your target city before negotiating. Your employer must pay at least that wage throughout the green card process, and a job offer below the prevailing wage will cause DOL to reject the PERM application.
Ask employers about concurrent EB-2 and EB-3 filing
If you hold a relevant advanced degree, ask whether your employer will file under both EB-2 and EB-3 simultaneously. This dual-track approach preserves an earlier priority date under EB-3 while EB-2 advances, which matters significantly if your country of birth has a visa backlog.
Find green card sponsoring employers through Migrate Mate
Filter Migrate Mate by Contracts Manager roles with verified EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history. This surfaces employers who have already navigated PERM for this occupation, cutting out the lengthy discovery process of cold-applying and later learning a company won't sponsor permanent residency.
Prepare for the PERM recruitment audit window
USCIS can audit PERM cases for up to five years after certification. Ask your employer to retain all recruitment records, applicant rejection logs, and wage documentation before your I-140 is filed. Gaps in that paper trail during an audit can invalidate an approved PERM certification.

Find Contracts Manager JobsContracts Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Contracts Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Contracts Manager positions typically qualify under EB-3 as a skilled worker or professional when the role requires a bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field. EB-2 applies if the position requires an advanced degree or your employer can demonstrate the role warrants a candidate with strong specialized credentials. The employer's job description and your qualifications together determine which category fits.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for a Contracts Manager?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary work authorization period. Unlike H-1B, EB-3 has no annual lottery, so your employer can initiate PERM at any time. The process takes longer overall, often two to four years depending on your country of birth and USCIS processing queues, but the outcome is lawful permanent residency with no renewal requirements.
Which industries sponsor Contracts Manager roles for green cards most frequently?
Defense and aerospace, federal construction contractors, IT services, and healthcare systems are among the most consistent EB-2 and EB-3 sponsors for Contracts Manager roles. These industries operate under federal contracting regulations that drive demand for experienced professionals, and many have established immigration programs that make the PERM process repeatable for their HR teams.
How can I find Contracts Manager jobs where the employer is already open to green card sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for Contracts Manager roles with EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history. Filtering by employers who have previously completed PERM certifications for this occupation saves significant time, since many employers who list contract management jobs openly have never sponsored permanent residency and will decline mid-process.
Can I switch jobs after my PERM is approved but before I receive my green card?
Yes, under AC21 portability rules you can change employers once your I-485 adjustment of status application has been pending for at least 180 days, provided the new role is in the same or a similar occupational classification. For Contracts Manager roles, O*NET can help confirm whether a prospective new position is sufficiently similar to your sponsored role to qualify for portability.
