Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Customer Solutions Specialist
Align your degree to PERM requirements
PERM requires your employer to define a minimum education requirement for the role. Make sure your degree field, whether business administration, communications, or a related discipline, matches the job description language before the labor certification is filed.
Target employers with prior EB-3 filings
Companies that have sponsored Customer Solutions Specialists before already have PERM workflows and immigration counsel in place. Search OFLC disclosure data to identify employers who have filed labor certifications for this specific SOC code in the past two years.
Search green card jobs on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Customer Solutions Specialist openings by employers with documented green card sponsorship history, so you're not guessing which companies will file. Use it to target roles where sponsorship is already part of the hiring process.
Verify the prevailing wage before negotiating
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your location and experience level. Look up the wage level for your role using the OFLC Wage Search before salary discussions, so your offer won't fall below what PERM certification requires.
Ask about concurrent filing eligibility upfront
If your priority date is current, your employer may be able to file the I-140 and your I-485 adjustment of status at the same time. Confirm this with the employer's immigration attorney before accepting an offer, since it significantly shortens your wait for work authorization flexibility.
Document customer-facing achievements for the I-140
USCIS reviews your qualifications when adjudicating the I-140 petition. Gather performance records, customer satisfaction metrics, and promotion history now. Concrete evidence of your role's specialized requirements strengthens the petition if USCIS issues a Request for Evidence.

Find Customer Solutions Specialist JobsCustomer Solutions Specialist Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Customer Solutions Specialist role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most Customer Solutions Specialist positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers or professionals when the employer requires a bachelor's degree. EB-2 applies if the role genuinely requires an advanced degree or if you qualify for a National Interest Waiver. Your employer's immigration attorney determines the correct category based on the job description and your credentials.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B is a temporary work visa subject to an annual lottery and a six-year base limit. EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency with no cap concerns at the EB-3 level for most countries outside India and China. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone typically takes six to eighteen months before USCIS even receives the I-140 petition.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for this job?
Your employer files the PERM application with DOL to prove no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This requires a supervised recruitment campaign, including job postings and interviews, before submitting. The process can take six months to over a year depending on DOL workload. You cannot self-petition under EB-3; the employer must initiate and manage the filing.
How can I find Customer Solutions Specialist jobs with green card sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Customer Solutions Specialist openings filtered by employers with verified green card sponsorship history. Many companies sponsor but don't advertise it explicitly in job postings, so filtering by actual PERM filing history is more reliable than reading job descriptions. Focus on employers in industries with high sponsorship volume, such as technology, financial services, and enterprise software.
Can I use O*NET data to strengthen a PERM application for this role?
O*NET provides the occupational profile for Customer Solutions Specialist roles, including typical tasks, required knowledge areas, and skill sets. Immigration attorneys often reference O*NET when drafting the job description for the PERM application to ensure it reflects DOL expectations for the occupation. Reviewing your role against the O*NET profile helps you spot gaps between your duties and what the certification will require.
