Business To Business Green Card Jobs
Business-to-business roles in sales, account management, and client strategy qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. Employers document recruitment efforts, file an I-140 petition, and sponsor you for permanent residency. Priority dates and country of birth affect your timeline, so starting the process early matters.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Business To Business
Document your B2B specialization before applying
Gather performance records, client portfolio evidence, and any revenue or retention metrics that demonstrate specialized expertise. PERM requires your employer to define a specific role, and concrete documentation helps justify EB-2 advanced-degree or EB-3 skilled-worker classification.
Target employers with established PERM filing history
B2B companies that have sponsored green cards before already understand the PERM recruitment and audit process. Look for mid-size to enterprise firms with dedicated HR legal teams, since they're more likely to absorb filing costs without requiring you to negotiate sponsorship from scratch.
Search open roles using Migrate Mate
Filter by EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship availability across B2B sales and account management roles using Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces employers with active green card filing history, saving you from applying to companies that have never run a PERM recruitment process.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before your offer letter
Ask whether the employer covers PERM attorney fees and I-140 filing costs before you sign. Some B2B employers pass legal fees to employees or include clawback clauses if you leave within two years of green card approval, which USCIS permits but you can negotiate.
Understand how your country affects your priority date
PERM approval and I-140 approval don't mean your green card is immediately available. If you were born in India or China, EB-3 backlogs can extend your wait significantly. Check the monthly USCIS Visa Bulletin to map your realistic timeline before accepting a role tied to sponsorship.

Find Business To Business JobsBusiness To Business Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do B2B roles typically qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most B2B account management, sales strategy, and client success roles qualify for EB-3 as skilled professional positions requiring a bachelor's degree. Roles involving specialized analysis, enterprise solutions architecture, or advanced business consulting may qualify for EB-2 if the employer can demonstrate the position requires an advanced degree or equivalent specialized expertise through the PERM process.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for B2B professionals?
H-1B is a temporary status requiring renewal and subject to an annual lottery cap. EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency with no cap lottery at the petition level. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM recruitment and I-140 adjudication take longer upfront, but you're building toward status that doesn't expire or depend on annual selection.
What does the PERM process actually require from a B2B employer?
Your employer must conduct DOL-prescribed recruitment steps, including posting the role, advertising in approved venues, and documenting that no qualified U.S. workers applied. For B2B roles, this typically involves defining specific degree and experience requirements in the job description. DOL then certifies the application before your employer files the I-140 petition with USCIS.
Where can I find B2B employers actively sponsoring green cards?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history, letting you search B2B roles at companies that have successfully run PERM processes before. This is more reliable than applying broadly and asking about sponsorship during interviews, since many companies don't advertise green card willingness in their job postings.
Can my B2B employer start the PERM process while I'm on H-1B?
Yes. Many B2B professionals begin PERM while maintaining valid H-1B status. Under AC21 portability rules, if your I-140 has been approved for 180 days or more, you can change employers in the same or similar occupational category without losing your priority date, giving you flexibility if your role or company changes before your green card is approved.
