INTRODUCTION
Our team is building a global platform for illiquid asset management, running on Azure and Kubernetes, with a modern React frontend and backend stack spanning C# and Python APIs. Our system interfaces heavily with SQL server, including legacy business logic embedded in stored procedures.
We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer who amplifies their output using AI tools, and who has experience building financial or highly-data intensive enterprise systems in cloud-native environments. This is a frontend-primary role for an engineer who can rapidly design, build, and ship high-quality UI systems in a complex, domain-heavy environment.

- Collaborate closely with backend teams (C#, Python APIs) to design clean, efficient API contracts
- Optimize frontend performance, state management, and rendering efficiency
- Operate as an AI-augmented engineer, using modern AI tools to significantly increase your development speed and quality – while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals
- Use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to scaffold components and accelerate day-to-day development
- Pilot and orchestrate AI agents to handle multi-step engineering tasks, refactor and modularize codebases efficiently using AI assistance
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on UI/UX flows, produce and maintain automated test coverage with AI-generated support
- Debug performance and state issues using AI-driven workflows, know when AI helps and when to write it yourself

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Traits:
- Five (5) + years of frontend engineering experience
- Deep expertise in React and modern frontend architecture
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in State management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
- Experience with API integration (REST, GraphQL is a plus)

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Frontend Engineer
Target employers with PERM filing history
Search DOL PERM disclosure data to identify companies that have sponsored Frontend Engineers before. Prior filings signal that the employer understands the labor certification process and has an HR or legal team already set up to handle it.
Find green card sponsoring roles on Migrate Mate
Filter for Frontend Engineer positions where employers have confirmed green card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces EB-2 and EB-3 eligible roles by title and location, cutting the time you spend screening job listings that won't lead to a PERM filing.
Verify the job description matches your actual duties
DOL audits PERM applications when job descriptions appear overly tailored to a specific candidate. Make sure the posted Frontend Engineer duties reflect what the role genuinely requires, not a description written around your resume.
Clarify sponsorship timing before accepting an offer
Ask directly whether the employer will file PERM after your first year or only after a longer probationary period. Priority dates for Frontend Engineers from high-demand countries like India and China can span years, so the earlier you start, the better.
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires that the Frontend Engineer position normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Roles that accept any degree, or list a degree as preferred rather than required, risk an I-140 denial even after a successful PERM certification.

Find Frontend Engineer JobsFrontend Engineer Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Frontend Engineer role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Frontend Engineer positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. EB-2 applies when the role requires an advanced degree or the candidate has a master's degree or higher. The employer's job description and your credentials together determine which category fits.
How does the PERM green card process differ from H-1B sponsorship for Frontend Engineers?
PERM leads to permanent residency, not a temporary status, and has no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most nationalities. Unlike the H-1B lottery, a PERM application filed by your employer moves through DOL review and then USCIS adjudication on a set path. The tradeoff is time: PERM plus I-140 plus adjustment of status often takes two to four years or more, depending on your country of birth and current visa status.
What does the DOL recruitment process require during PERM for a Frontend Engineer?
Before filing PERM, the employer must conduct a supervised recruitment campaign to demonstrate that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. For professional positions like Frontend Engineer, this includes posting the job on the DOL job board, placing two Sunday newspaper ads, and completing additional recruitment steps. The employer must retain documentation of all recruitment activity for at least five years.
How can I find Frontend Engineer jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Frontend Engineer roles where employers have confirmed EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship. This saves you from applying broadly and discovering late in the process that a company won't support a PERM filing. Filtering by sponsorship type up front means every application you submit has a realistic path to permanent residency.
Can a Frontend Engineer on OPT or H-1B start the green card process at the same time?
Yes. You can be on OPT, STEM OPT, or H-1B while your employer files PERM and then the I-140 petition on your behalf. Many Frontend Engineers begin PERM during their first H-1B period to lock in an early priority date. Once the I-140 is approved, you can file for adjustment of status while remaining on your current work authorization, as long as your status stays valid.
