Senior Fullstack Software Engineer Green Card Jobs
Senior Fullstack Software Engineer roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM labor certification, which permanently ties your residency to a U.S. employer rather than a temporary visa status. Employers file a PERM application with DOL, then an I-140 petition with USCIS, opening a direct path to lawful permanent residency.

- Design and implement features that drive adoption of core platform capabilities across different user types (individuals, teams, and AI-assisted workflows)
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements across the user journey
- Use experimentation and analytics to inform decisions and validate the impact of changes
- Develop a deep understanding of how developers use Postman—individually and collaboratively—and apply those insights to improve the product
- Iterate quickly, delivering thoughtful, incremental improvements that compound over time
- Contribute to the evolution of our onboarding and discovery systems as the product and customer base continue to grow
About You
Must have:
- 8+ years of experience building frontend or full-stack applications with a focus on product and user experience
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with modern frameworks like React or Next.js
- Track record of building and improving product experiences that drive user engagement and adoption
- Experience using data, analytics, or experimentation to guide product decisions
- Strong product sense and attention to detail—you care deeply about how things work and feel
- Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces and drive them to clear outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across functions
- Curiosity about how developers work, and a desire to build tools that make them more effective
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with full-stack JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with state management tools like MobX
- Experience working on B2B products, developer tools, or AI-powered experiences
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
Document your full-stack specialization precisely
Your PERM job description must match your actual duties. Pull your O*NET occupation profile for Senior Fullstack Software Engineer and align your resume's tech stack, architecture responsibilities, and degree requirements to the exact language DOL reviewers expect to see.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search the DOL's OFLC Wage Search to identify companies that have filed PERM applications for software engineering roles. An employer who has completed the process before moves faster and makes fewer procedural mistakes that stall your I-140.
Ask about concurrent I-485 filing eligibility early
Once your priority date is current, you can file the I-140 and I-485 adjustment of status simultaneously. Confirm with your employer's attorney whether your country of birth and the current Visa Bulletin allow concurrent filing before you accept the offer.
Use Migrate Mate to find green-card-sponsoring roles
Filter your job search specifically to Senior Fullstack Software Engineer positions with verified PERM sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have sponsored this exact role, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never run a PERM process.
Verify the prevailing wage level before negotiating salary
Your employer's PERM filing locks in a specific DOL wage level for your role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to check whether the offered salary meets at least Level II or Level III prevailing wage, since a mismatch can invalidate the entire PERM application.

Find Senior Fullstack Software Engineer JobsSenior Fullstack Software Engineer Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Senior Fullstack Software Engineer positions qualify for both categories. EB-3 applies when the role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. EB-2 applies when the employer requires an advanced degree or when you hold a bachelor's degree plus at least five years of progressive, specialized experience that your employer can document to DOL's satisfaction.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B sponsorship is temporary, subject to an annual lottery, and requires renewal every three years. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 is permanent, has no lottery, and carries no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries outside India and China. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone takes six to twelve months before USCIS even begins reviewing your I-140 petition.
What does the PERM process actually require from my employer for a software engineering role?
Your employer must conduct a DOL-mandated recruitment campaign, including job postings, newspaper ads, and internal notices, proving no qualified U.S. worker was available for the role. The job description filed with DOL must match your actual duties and set a minimum requirement that a U.S. worker could realistically meet. Any mismatch between the posted requirements and your credentials is a common audit trigger.
How can I find Senior Fullstack Software Engineer jobs that already sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Senior Fullstack Software Engineer roles where employers have a verified PERM sponsorship track record. Targeting employers with prior PERM filings in software engineering significantly reduces the risk of an employer backing out mid-process or making procedural errors that restart your timeline from zero.
Can I change jobs after my employer files my I-140 petition?
Yes, with conditions. Once your I-140 has been approved and has been pending for at least 180 days, portability rules under AC21 allow you to move to a new employer offering a same or similar role without losing your priority date. Senior Fullstack Software Engineer positions generally satisfy the same-or-similar standard when moving to comparable software development roles, but your new employer's attorney should confirm the classification before you resign.
