- Develop therapeutic relationships with clients’ families and include family members in the treatment process as necessary and appropriate.
- Develop initial treatment plans for supportive counseling services with the client and the client’s support system.
- Develop and implement therapy plans for therapeutic services with clients.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic sessions and interventions, most often in the community or the client’s home, as outlined in the therapy plan, using a strengths-based approach and best-practice models.
