Regional Coordinator Green Card Jobs
Regional Coordinator roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and the employer files a PERM labor certification with DOL. Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Regional Coordinator
Document your multi-site coordination scope
Before applying, compile evidence that your Regional Coordinator role spans distinct geographic locations or program areas. PERM requires your employer to define the position's duties precisely, and multi-site scope strengthens the specialty-occupation framing needed for EB-2 classification.
Target employers with existing PERM filing history
Search DOL's OFLC Wage Search to find employers who have previously certified Regional Coordinator or Program Manager roles under PERM. Repeat filers have established internal HR processes, which shortens your path from offer to petition filing significantly.
Clarify EB-2 versus EB-3 eligibility before accepting an offer
Regional Coordinator roles typically land in EB-3 if the employer lists a bachelor's degree as the minimum. If your position requires an advanced degree or your employer can justify it, EB-2 may reduce your priority date wait, especially for nationals from non-backlogged countries.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring employers by role
Search Migrate Mate specifically for Regional Coordinator or Coordinator roles with green card sponsorship history. Filtering by PERM-filing employers saves you from applying to organizations that have never navigated employment-based sponsorship and may be unprepared to start.
Confirm your employer will cover PERM recruitment costs
PERM requires the employer to conduct and fund a mandatory recruitment campaign before USCIS can approve the I-140. Confirm during negotiations that your offer letter specifies the employer bears all PERM and I-140 filing costs, since DOL prohibits passing those fees to you.
Request concurrent I-485 filing if your priority date is current
If the Visa Bulletin shows your EB-2 or EB-3 priority date as current when your I-140 is approved, ask your employer to file your adjustment-of-status application concurrently. Concurrent filing lets you apply for work authorization and travel permission while USCIS processes your green card case.

Find Regional Coordinator JobsRegional Coordinator Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Regional Coordinator role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Regional Coordinator positions qualify under EB-3, which covers skilled workers and professionals in roles requiring a bachelor's degree. EB-2 applies if your employer can demonstrate the position genuinely requires an advanced degree or if you qualify for a National Interest Waiver. The classification depends on how the employer drafts the job description in the PERM labor certification, so the wording of your offer letter matters.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for Regional Coordinator roles?
H-1B sponsorship is temporary, capped at 85,000 per year, and subject to a lottery. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 has no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most nationalities, and it leads to permanent residency rather than a renewable temporary status. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification adds six to twelve months before the I-140 stage, making the total process longer than a typical H-1B petition.
What does the PERM process look like for a Regional Coordinator position?
Your employer files a PERM application with DOL after completing a mandatory recruitment campaign to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. DOL reviews the application and, if certified, your employer files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once the I-140 is approved and your priority date is current in the Visa Bulletin, you file for adjustment of status or attend a consular interview to receive your green card.
How do I find Regional Coordinator jobs where the employer will sponsor a green card?
The most efficient approach is searching for employers with documented PERM filing history for coordinator-level roles. Migrate Mate lets you filter Regional Coordinator positions by green card sponsorship history, so you're only seeing employers who have already committed to the PERM process for similar roles, not companies that are unfamiliar with employment-based sponsorship.
Can I change employers while my green card case is pending as a Regional Coordinator?
Yes, with conditions. If your I-140 has been approved for more than 180 days, the AC21 portability rule lets you change to a similar role in the same or a comparable occupational category without losing your priority date. Regional Coordinator roles share SOC codes with program and operations management positions, so a lateral move to a comparable coordination role often qualifies, but you'll want your new employer to confirm this in writing before you resign.
