Green Card Partnerships Coordinator Jobs
Partnerships Coordinator roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field. Employers file a PERM labor certification with DOL before sponsoring you for permanent residency, making this a direct path to a U.S. green card rather than a temporary work authorization.

Reports to: Director of Brand Marketing
Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT - Hybrid 3x/week in office
ABOUT THE ROLE
Backcountry needs a content engine — someone who can personally create authentic, platform-native social content across road bike, MTB, ski, climb, and general outdoor at volume, while simultaneously building and managing a growing network of creators and ambassadors. As Content & Community Partnerships Coordinator, you will serve as both a prolific hands-on content creator and the connective tissue between Backcountry's brand and the outdoor creator community.
Within your first six months, success means a content calendar that never goes empty, 20+ pieces of brand-aligned content published per week, and a creator network that is well-supported, on-brief, and delivering consistently. You will leverage AI tools and systematic workflows to maintain quality at high volume across multiple channels and verticals.
This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.
- Create original, platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels — shooting, editing, and posting short-form video, graphics, and photo content independently
- Produce content across all core verticals (ski/snow, road bike, MTB, climb, general outdoor) with the credibility and context to make each feel authentic
- Write sharp, brand-aligned captions, scripts, and copy that match Backcountry's voice across formats and audiences
- Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Runway, ElevenLabs, Descript, etc.) to accelerate ideation, scripting, repurposing, and scheduling at scale
- Source, recruit, onboard, and manage emerging creators, athletes, and ambassadors across bike, climb, snow, run, and lifestyle verticals
- Turn creator partnerships into a consistent content pipeline aligned with brand, product, and seasonal priorities — briefing creators, tracking deliverables, and maintaining brand standards
- Build and maintain an organized content calendar using modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to keep volume high and quality consistent during peak campaign periods
- Foster belonging within the Backcountry creator and ambassador community through genuine relationship-building and support for in-person community moments (rides, laps, events, activations)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, Brand, Partnerships, and Merchandising teams to integrate creators into campaigns, partnerships, and events
- Track content output, creator performance, and social metrics against goals; compile performance reports to inform sourcing and content decisions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 4 years of experience in social media, content creation, influencer marketing, or brand partnerships
- A personal content portfolio — links to accounts, channels, or work you have created yourself
- Active participant in at least one core vertical: road bike, MTB, ski, climb, or outdoor — this is non-negotiable
- Ability to independently create content across formats: short-form video, photo, graphics, captions, and scripts using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent
- Fluency with AI tools and a demonstrated ability to use them as a production multiplier, not a shortcut
- Experience managing creator or ambassador relationships and content deliverables
- Strong understanding of platform-native behavior on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with the ability to adapt quickly as platforms shift
- Ability to channel a brand voice authentically — writing in tone without sounding corporate or scripted
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle creator relationships, content production, and reporting simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in outdoor, sports, or culturally-driven brands
- Experience thinking systemically about content workflows: batching, templates, repurposing, scheduling, and workflow design
- Experience executing tiered partnership structures with creators and ambassadors

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Partnerships Coordinator
Align your credentials with PERM requirements
PERM requires your foreign degree to match the minimum education listed in the job posting. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before applying so your bachelor's degree is recognized as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree.
Target employers with active EB-3 filing history
Search DOL PERM disclosure data to identify companies that have sponsored Partnerships Coordinator or similar business development roles before. Repeat sponsorship history signals a functioning internal process, not a one-off hire that stalls mid-application.
Search verified sponsorship jobs on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Partnerships Coordinator openings by employers with confirmed green card sponsorship history. This cuts the time spent cold-applying to companies that list sponsorship as possible but have no PERM filing record.
Negotiate the prevailing wage requirement upfront
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location throughout the PERM process. Check the OFLC Wage Search before your offer discussion so you know the wage floor and can negotiate a salary that meets it from day one.
Understand when EB-2 applies to your candidacy
If your Partnerships Coordinator role requires an advanced degree or you hold a master's in a relevant field, your employer may file under EB-2 instead of EB-3. EB-2 can mean shorter priority date wait times for some nationalities, so confirm the category before PERM is filed.
Track PERM audit timelines before accepting an offer
PERM cases selected for audit can take 12 months or longer to resolve, pausing your entire green card timeline. Ask the employer how many prior PERM filings they've completed and whether their legal team has handled audit responses before signing.
Green Card Partnerships Coordinator: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Partnerships Coordinator roles typically qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Partnerships Coordinator positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled professional roles requiring a bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field. If the role specifically requires a master's degree or you hold one and the employer can justify it in the job description, EB-2 sponsorship is possible. The classification is determined at the PERM stage based on the minimum requirements the employer sets for the position.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency, not a temporary work visa with renewal deadlines. Unlike the H-1B visa, EB-3 has no annual lottery, so there's no selection risk. The tradeoff is time: PERM labor certification typically takes six to twelve months before USCIS even begins reviewing the I-140 petition, making the total process significantly longer than an H-1B visa transfer.
What does the PERM process look like for a Partnerships Coordinator hire?
The employer must conduct a DOL-regulated recruitment campaign to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This includes job postings, internal notices, and documented candidate review. Once the recruitment period closes and DOL certifies the application, the employer files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS on your behalf. You can then apply for adjustment of status or an immigrant visa once your priority date becomes current.
How do I find Partnerships Coordinator jobs where the employer will actually sponsor a green card?
Many job postings say they're open to sponsorship without ever having filed a PERM application. Migrate Mate filters roles by employers with verified green card sponsorship history, so you're applying to companies that have completed the process before, not just ones that haven't said no. This is one of the most practical ways to avoid wasting months in a process that stalls at the employer's first HR conversation.
Can I switch employers after my PERM is filed but before I have my green card?
Portability rules under AC21 allow you to change to a same or similar role once your I-485 adjustment of status application has been pending for 180 days or more. A Partnerships Coordinator moving to a similar business development or alliances role at a new employer generally qualifies, but the new job must align with your approved I-140 occupational category. Confirm the match with your new employer's immigration counsel before making the move.
