Green Card Sourcing Jobs
Sourcing roles in procurement, supply chain, and vendor management qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. Employers file on your behalf, certifying that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Strong credentials in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, or category management strengthen your sponsorship case.

Senior Analyst, Procurement
Department: PRISM (Direct Procurement)
Location: Casa Del Mundo (Denver HQ) / Hybrid
About the Role
Welcome to DaVita’s PRISM team! We are seeking a high-energy Senior Sourcing Analyst to join our Direct Procurement team. This role operates as a "Junior Category Manager" and is intentionally designed as a developmental stepping stone for high-potential talent aiming for a Category Manager position.
In this role, you will blend deep analytical rigor with foundational category management. You will take direct ownership of developing and executing sourcing strategies for specific, targeted direct medical categories (such as scales, testing supplies and respiratory equipment) while partnering closely with Senior Category Managers to support highly complex, high-spend dialysis category initiatives. You will play a critical role in driving commercial negotiations, stabilizing supply chains, and influencing key clinical, technical and operational stakeholders across DaVita.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Support:
- Develop, produce, and oversee analyses and models (TCO, spend analysis) that lead to compelling insights and recommendations for category managers
- Partner with and support Senior Category Managers on large-scale direct dialysis bundle initiatives, learning advanced storytelling, presentation, and strategy execution skills
- Lead and facilitate end-to-end RFx processes (Request for Proposals, Quotes, and Invitations to Bid), including market research, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Review contracts for products and services, maintaining documentation on all procedures including final commercial terms, supplier quotes, and RFP/RFI documentation
- Facilitate delivery of all relevant contract documentation, pricing, and key terms to the procurement systems team to enable purchasing
- Act as the lead Category Manager for assigned direct categories, independently developing, selling, and executing category strategies
Step into the Category Manager’s role when needed to support the broader Procurement team and demonstrate readiness to advance to a managerial position.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
- Build deep, cross-functional relationships with internal business partners, including Clinical Explorers, Biomed (technical), and Field Operations. Provide excellent customer service to DaVita teammates at all levels
- Proactively identify the "next right steps" to align stakeholders on sourcing initiatives and vendor transitions
- Anticipate roadblocks, navigate organizational complexity, and adapt to shifting priorities in spend strategies, product demands, and sourcing timelines
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):
- Manage the selection and evaluation of preferred suppliers, including documenting the selection process, gathering supplier data/proposals, and making recommendations based on findings
- Drive continuous improvement and bring an innovation mindset to your categories by leveraging relationships with internal customers and suppliers
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: 2-4 years of business experience, with direct procurement or strategic sourcing experience strongly preferred (0-2 years minimum acceptable if offset by strong consulting/analytical background). Experience managing multiple projects concurrently is essential
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to move beyond basic analytics to understand the "big picture", demonstrate a desire to continually learn and evolve, and develop actionable business strategies
- Influence & Communication: High energy and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority. Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in MS PowerPoint with experience presenting findings to leadership
- Negotiation Skills: Experience leading or supporting commercial negotiations and managing supplier relationships
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience using business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools (such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL) is highly preferred. Experience working with enterprise ERP systems and eSourcing environments (such as Oracle, SAP, Coupa) is a strong plus
- Education: Bachelor's degree required (Business or STEM degrees preferred). Ideal coursework includes supply chain operations, procurement, strategy, or finance
The PRISM Value Proposition
DaVita’s PRISM team is committed to the growth and development of our teammates. In this role, you will receive dedicated coaching and mentorship from Senior Category Managers. Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Sourcing
Document your specialty occupation credentials early
Gather degree transcripts, professional certifications like CPSM or CIPS, and reference letters confirming your sourcing specialization. PERM audits frequently target procurement roles, so a clean credential file prevents costly delays before your employer even files.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search OFLC disclosure data to identify companies that have sponsored sourcing or procurement professionals before. Employers already familiar with PERM timelines for your occupation are far more likely to commit to sponsoring a foreign national through the full EB-2 or EB-3 process.
Find green card sponsoring sourcing jobs on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter sourcing roles by employers with verified green card sponsorship history. This cuts out the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that have never navigated PERM for procurement or supply chain positions.
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation standards
Not all sourcing titles clear the specialty occupation bar for EB-2. Roles emphasizing strategic category management, complex contract negotiation, or technical supplier qualification are stronger than general purchasing coordinator positions. Review the O*NET profile for your specific title before accepting an offer.
Negotiate your start date around PERM processing timelines
DOL PERM processing currently runs six to twelve months before your employer can file the I-140. Build that window into your employment contract discussions so you're not scrambling with a soon-expiring work visa while the labor certification is still pending.
Understand how EB-3 backlog affects your country of birth
EB-3 priority dates for India and China are years behind the rest of the world. If you were born in either country, ask your employer about EB-2 eligibility or consult an immigration attorney about National Interest Waiver options before committing to a filing strategy.
Green Card Sourcing: Frequently Asked Questions
Do sourcing roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Both categories are possible depending on your education and the role's requirements. EB-2 applies when the position requires an advanced degree or you have a bachelor's degree plus five or more years of progressive sourcing experience. EB-3 covers positions requiring at least a bachelor's degree. Strategic sourcing, global procurement, and category management roles with clear degree requirements typically qualify under one of these two tiers.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for sourcing professionals?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency, not a temporary status that expires or depends on lottery selection. There is no annual cap concern at the EB-3 level for most countries. The tradeoff is time: PERM labor certification, I-140 approval, and adjustment of status can take two to four years or longer, compared to the faster but temporary H-1B visa path.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for a sourcing job?
Your employer must conduct a formal recruitment campaign proving no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. This includes posting the position through required channels, documenting applicant rejections, and filing a certified application with DOL. The prevailing wage for the sourcing position, determined using the OFLC Wage Search, must be offered. Any audit by DOL can add six to twelve months to the process.
How can I find sourcing employers who will sponsor a green card?
Start by searching Migrate Mate, which filters sourcing and procurement roles by employers with verified green card sponsorship history. This narrows your search to companies that have already completed PERM filings for similar roles, so you're not investing time in applications where sponsorship is unlikely or the employer has no experience with the process.
Can I switch employers during my green card process without losing my place in line?
Once your I-140 has been approved for at least 180 days and your priority date is current or nearly current, you may be able to port your green card to a new employer in the same or similar occupational category under AC21 portability rules. Sourcing and procurement roles generally share enough overlap that a move within the same function can qualify, but USCIS makes this determination case by case.
