Green Card Supply Chain Analytics Jobs
Supply chain analytics roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which requires employers to document recruitment efforts before filing an I-140 petition. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in operations research, data science, or a related field typically qualify under EB-3, while advanced-degree professionals may pursue EB-2.

Position Summary
Leads the Supply Chain Data Products & Analytics team serving the Supply Chain organization. The Manager owns the supply chain data product portfolio — governed, reusable analytical assets including inventory productivity and Economic Return on Inventory models, workforce capacity models, distribution network demand signals, and operational scorecards — that convert enterprise data into supply chain decisions with measurable financial outcomes.
The role builds domain analytics on the enterprise data platform under enterprise standards, is the named owner of the supply chain analytical data layer and leads the team's adoption of AI-enabled analytical capability, including the existing automation portfolio and natural-language analytics, under applicable governance and control standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Data Product Ownership:

- Directs closure of documented domain data engineering gaps in the enterprise lakehouse in partnership with the enterprise data platform organization.
- Establishes data contracts, refresh standards, and quality thresholds for all production data products.
S/4HANA Analytical Continuity:
- Serves as the accountable owner for the supply chain analytical data layer and maps every production report and data product to its post-conversion data source before cutover.
- Partners with the Business Integration function on system-of-record design decisions affecting downstream analytics; Business Integration owns system configuration and process design — this role owns the analytical consumption layer.
AI-Enabled Analytics & Workflow:
- Owns and evolves the team's automation and AI-assisted analytics portfolio, progressing from robotic process automation toward governed AI workflows within human-approved control boundaries and applicable enterprise standards.
- Maintains a value ledger attributing realized savings and productivity hours to each deployed capability; no autonomous AI action on financial controls.
Decision Support:
- Delivers executive decision support: MSS Leadership Scorecard, Monthly Operating Review analytics, blocked invoice control monitoring against the SOX threshold, and CFO-level financial models.
Team Leadership & Capability Build:
- Leads, develops, and performance-manages a team of 4–5 professionals; executes the team's skills progression toward analytics engineering, AI engineering, and data product management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, engineering, information systems, or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or supply chain decision support, including two or more years leading people or cross-functional delivery.
- Demonstrated delivery of analytical products on a modern cloud data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent) with SQL fluency and working knowledge of data modeling.
- Experience supporting enterprise resource planning data environments; SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) data structures strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utility, energy, or asset-intensive supply chain operations.
- Experience with data product management practices, semantic layer design, or federated operating models.
- Experience deploying RPA, LLM-based tooling, or AI-assisted workflow automation under enterprise governance, including human-in-the-loop control design.
- Power BI at an advanced level, including workspace administration and deployment pipelines.

Frame your credentials around PERM job requirements
PERM certification locks in a minimum job description, so your degree and work history must match it exactly. Document every analytical tool, platform, and methodology you've used, since PERM audits frequently scrutinize whether foreign workers genuinely meet the stated requirements.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed PERM applications under supply chain, logistics, or operations research job titles. Employers already familiar with the labor certification process move faster and make fewer procedural errors that delay your case.
Use Migrate Mate to filter green card sponsoring roles
Search Migrate Mate to find supply chain analytics positions where employers have demonstrable green card sponsorship history. Filtering by sponsorship type saves time and surfaces roles where the hiring team already understands the PERM timeline.
Clarify the EB-2 versus EB-3 pathway with your employer early
Supply chain analytics roles with a master's degree requirement can support an EB-2 filing, which skips certain prevailing-wage tiers. Confirm with the employer before an offer is signed which category they intend to file under, since changing it later restarts the PERM clock.
Benchmark your offered wage against OFLC Wage Search
PERM requires your employer to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your job title and location. Run the OFLC Wage Search using your specific SOC code before negotiations close so you know whether the offer meets the Level I through Level IV threshold for your role.
Account for priority date backlog before accepting a timeline
EB-3 applicants from high-demand countries may wait years after I-140 approval before a visa number becomes available. Review the monthly Visa Bulletin with USCIS to estimate your realistic wait time based on your country of birth and preference category.
Green Card Supply Chain Analytics: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a supply chain analytics role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Supply chain analytics positions typically qualify under EB-3 when the employer requires a bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, statistics, or information systems. If the role requires a master's degree or the candidate holds one and the employer is willing to file under EB-2, that pathway is also available. The key is whether the job description as written matches the degree requirement PERM demands.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B visa status is temporary and subject to an annual lottery cap, while PERM-based green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency with no cap at the EB-3 level for most countries. The PERM process requires your employer to conduct a formal recruitment test before USCIS can approve the I-140 petition. The total timeline from PERM filing to green card approval often runs two to four years for candidates without country-based backlog issues.
What documents should I prepare before asking an employer to sponsor my green card?
Gather official transcripts, degree certificates, and a detailed employment history that maps your analytical roles to the specific tools and methodologies listed in your target job description. PERM audits frequently request evidence that the foreign worker meets every stated minimum requirement. Having a clean, organized record of your credentials shortens the employer's preparation time and reduces audit risk.
Where can I find supply chain analytics jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for supply chain analytics roles where employers have a documented history of green card sponsorship. Filtering by sponsorship type helps you avoid spending time on applications where the employer has never navigated the PERM process, which is a common reason offers fall through for foreign professionals.
Can my employer start the PERM process while I'm on H-1B status?
Yes. Employers routinely file PERM labor certification for workers already on H-1B status, and doing so does not affect your current work authorization. Starting PERM early matters because H-1B extensions beyond the standard six-year limit are available once your I-140 is approved and your priority date is more than 365 days old, per USCIS rules under AC21.
