If our mission excites you, you’re in the right place; we want you to bring your own energy to help us create a safer world. All we’re missing is you!
Forcepoint is seeking an IT AI Technical Program Manager to join our Enterprise AI team within the Enterprise Systems and Technologies organization. This team builds and operates the Forcepoint Intelligence Platform, the internal AI platform delivering a portfolio of programs that automate revenue, finance, customer success, and IT workflows across the company. This role owns delivery of that portfolio and will be strategically important and highly visible with senior leadership.
The Technical Program Manager will run the delivery framework that carries each AI program through defined milestones, from requirements and architecture through development, staging, production deployment, and measured production adoption. You will coordinate engineers, platform administrators, and business stakeholders across multiple concurrent programs, keep milestone status accurate in Jira, surface risks and slips early, and produce the weekly and executive-level reporting that leadership uses to steer the portfolio. You will also maintain visibility into AI infrastructure spend so program value can be weighed against cost, and you will own launch enablement so business teams are trained and ready when each program reaches production. A successful candidate brings structure and pace to a fast-moving portfolio without slowing the builders down.
How you will work: Remote USA
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of the Enterprise AI program portfolio through its milestone framework, from requirements through production usage
- Maintain accurate program and milestone status in Jira, and run the operating cadence (standups, milestone reviews, gate checks) that keeps programs moving
- Identify risks, dependencies, and slips early; drive them to resolution across engineering, security, and business teams
- Produce weekly leadership reporting that ties each program's progress to its business outcome, in language executives can act on
- Track AI infrastructure and platform spend and partner with leadership on budget visibility and forecasting
- Enforce governance and production readiness gates, including security review, documentation, and adoption measurement
- Run enablement and training for teams adopting new AI programs, including launch readiness, training sessions, and documentation, so adoption starts on day one of production
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Technologies, and Atlassian Engineering teams on shared dependencies
Skills & Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of technical program or project management experience in IT or software delivery
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and agile delivery practices
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams with structured milestone tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
- Critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or data platform programs
- Familiarity with cloud cost management, preferably AWS
- Experience with AI governance, production readiness, or SDLC frameworks
- Experience partnering with finance on budget and spend reporting
- Experience building enablement or training programs for enterprise technology rollouts
- PMP, agile, or equivalent program management certification

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship as an AI Program Manager
Frame your degree against specialty occupation criteria
USCIS evaluates whether your role theoretically requires a specific bachelor's degree. For AI Program Manager positions, a degree in computer science, data science, or engineering carries more weight than a general management credential when the job description emphasizes AI systems delivery.
Target employers with cap-exempt filing history
Universities, nonprofit research institutions, and government contractors can file H-1B petitions outside the annual lottery. AI Program Manager roles at these organizations let you start without waiting for an October 1 cap-subject slot.
Search LCA filings to verify employer sponsorship patterns
Use Migrate Mate to filter AI Program Manager roles by employers with verified LCA filing history. This shows which companies have already certified wages and job descriptions with DOL, cutting out guesswork about who actually sponsors.
Check prevailing wage before accepting an offer
Your employer must certify your salary meets DOL's prevailing wage for your role and location before USCIS will approve the petition. Run the OFLC Wage Search for SOC code 11-9041 to verify your offer clears the Level I through IV thresholds before you sign.
Clarify the LCA job duties match your actual work
If your day-to-day AI Program Manager responsibilities differ materially from the certified LCA, you're exposed to a site visit finding. Ask your employer to include model governance, cross-functional AI delivery, and technical stakeholder coordination in the LCA job description.
Request premium processing if your OPT end date is tight
USCIS offers 15-business-day adjudication through premium processing. If your OPT expires within three to four months of filing and your employer hasn't requested it, the cap-gap rule only protects you through September 30, leaving gaps in authorization if there are delays.
H-1B Visa AI Program Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an AI Program Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, engineering, or data science. USCIS scrutinizes program management roles more closely when the job description is broad, so employers should specify AI-specific responsibilities like model lifecycle oversight, technical roadmap ownership, and cross-functional AI delivery to support the specialty occupation argument.
How do I find AI Program Manager jobs where the employer has already sponsored H-1B visas?
Migrate Mate filters AI Program Manager listings by employers with verified LCA filing history from DOL disclosure data, so you can see which companies have already gone through the certification process. This is more reliable than asking recruiters cold, since LCA records are public and reflect actual filings rather than stated intentions.
Can I transfer my H-1B to a new AI Program Manager role without losing my priority date?
Your priority date stays with you when you transfer to a new employer, as long as your previous I-140 was approved and you're porting under AC21 portability rules. The new employer files a new H-1B petition, but you can start work as soon as USCIS receives the transfer petition, not after approval. The new role must be in the same or a similar occupational classification.
What happens to my H-1B status if my AI Program Manager role shifts significantly, for example from managing one AI product to overseeing an entire AI division?
A material change in duties, job title, or worksite requires your employer to file an amended H-1B petition before the change takes effect. USCIS considers scope expansions, significant increases in supervisory responsibility, and location changes as material. Filing before the role shifts keeps you in valid status; working in the changed role before the amendment is approved does not.
Does working as an AI Program Manager at a staffing firm or consultancy affect H-1B sponsorship?
Yes. If you're placed at a third-party client site, USCIS applies stricter scrutiny under its employer-employee relationship standards, requiring evidence of day-to-day supervision by the petitioning employer, not the client. Your employer must demonstrate control over your work, including the ability to hire, fire, and direct your tasks, and must have a specific project or placement ready at the time of filing.
