H-1B Visa Delivery Lead Jobs
Delivery Lead roles qualify for H-1B sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or a related field. Employers in tech, consulting, and logistics actively file LCAs for this title. No annual cap exemption applies, so timing your job search around the April lottery window matters.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship in Delivery Lead
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation
Delivery Lead positions vary widely. Pull the O*NET profile for your specific job code and verify your employer's job description requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. A generic management description without degree specificity can trigger an RFE.
Search employers with active LCA filings
Use Migrate Mate to filter Delivery Lead roles by employers who have certified LCAs for this title. Past LCA filings signal that the employer's legal team already understands the specialty occupation argument for this role.
Time your offer acceptance before April 1
H-1B petitions for cap-subject employers must be filed in April for an October 1 start. Negotiate your offer and complete background checks early enough that your employer can file during the registration window without rushing.
Check your employer's prevailing wage tier
Run your job title and work location through the OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer. Delivery Lead wages span Level II through Level IV depending on scope. A mismatch between your offered salary and the LCA wage level is a common petition deficiency.
Clarify hybrid and remote work in your LCA
DOL requires employers to list every worksite location on the LCA. If your Delivery Lead role involves client sites or multi-state travel, confirm your employer has filed a blanket LCA or will amend the petition before you begin work at unlisted locations.
Request premium processing if your start date is firm
USCIS premium processing guarantees a response within 15 business days. If your employer has a fixed project launch tied to your onboarding, ask them to include Form I-907 with the I-129 filing so delayed adjudication doesn't push your start date past October 1.

Find Delivery Lead JobsDelivery Lead H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Delivery Lead role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, if the job description requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as project management, computer science, engineering, or business administration. The key is that the degree must be tied to the role's duties, not just listed as a preference. Employers who have previously filed LCAs for this title have already cleared that documentation hurdle.
Which industries sponsor H-1B visas for Delivery Lead positions?
Technology consulting firms, enterprise software companies, logistics and supply chain businesses, and large financial institutions are the most active H-1B sponsors for Delivery Lead roles. These employers regularly file LCAs because the title appears across program management, agile delivery, and implementation teams. Migrate Mate lets you filter open Delivery Lead roles by employers with verified H-1B filing history.
Can I transfer my H-1B to a new Delivery Lead job mid-year?
Yes. Under H-1B portability, you can start working for a new employer as soon as they file your transfer petition, without waiting for USCIS approval, as long as your previous H-1B was approved and you've maintained lawful status. The new employer must file a new I-129 and LCA specific to your Delivery Lead role and worksite.
What documentation does a Delivery Lead need to support an H-1B petition?
Your employer will need your academic transcripts and degree certificates, a detailed job description linking your duties to your degree field, and a certified LCA showing your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for Delivery Lead in your work location. If your degree is from outside the U.S., a credential evaluation from a NACES-member evaluator is typically required.
What happens to my H-1B status if my Delivery Lead project ends before my visa expires?
If your employer terminates your position, you have a 60-day grace period to find a new H-1B sponsor, change to a different visa status, or depart the U.S. During that window, you can begin working for a new employer the moment they file a transfer petition. The grace period does not reset if you change employers voluntarily.
