Your role at Clorox:
The Senior Business Process Analyst – Logistics enables scalable, standardized, and well-governed logistics systems and processes across the enterprise. This role partners with Product Owners and Operations to translate business needs into clear process and system documentation, training, and adoption support. The analyst also serves as the primary escalation point for business super users—triaging operational issues and routing validated requests to Product Owners to support a structured, consistent flow of support and system improvements.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the system and process subject matter expert (SME) for assigned logistics platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, TMS and supporting tools).
- Document end-to-end business processes at a detailed, step-by-step level; maintain enterprise SOPs and playbooks.
- Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and train-the-trainer content to ensure consistent system usage across operations.
- Partner with Product Owners to capture, clarify, and document requirements for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Perform root-cause analysis for system and process issues escalated from super users and SMEs; determine whether issues are related to configuration, data, process design, or training gaps.
- Support UAT, regression testing, and release readiness activities.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors to investigate and resolve defects, as needed.
- Support rollout communications and training during system or process changes.
- Maintain a strong connection to operations by observing system usage and participating in field reviews.
- Partner with OCM counterparts to establish and maintain process documentation standards, templates, and governance.
What we look for:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, logistics systems, and/or supply chain operations. Experience operating within a Center of Excellence (CoE) and/or shared services model preferred.
- Hands-on experience with logistics platforms (TMS, WMS, ERP modules).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), to include documentation skills translating complex processes into clear, usable guidance.
- Experience supporting system testing and deployments (e.g., UAT, regression testing, release readiness). Supporting enterprise-scale system rollouts and transformations preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, IT, and leadership.
- Ability to leverage data analytics and reporting to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive process improvements.
Workplace type:
Hybrid: This role will work in the office 3 days a week and work two days remotely.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Business Process Analyst
Verify your degree supports specialty occupation
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and process analysis work. A general business degree usually qualifies, but an unrelated major can trigger an RFE. Pull the O*NET profile for Business Process Analysts to document the education requirement before your employer files.
Check the LCA wage level before negotiating
Your offer must meet the DOL prevailing wage for your metro area and experience tier. Use OFLC Wage Search to find the Level I through Level IV wage for SOC 13-1111 in your city. Accepting a Level I wage on a senior role can complicate renewals.
Target employers with E-Verify enrollment
H-1B sponsoring employers must be E-Verify participants. Filter your search to companies already enrolled, since unenrolled employers face extra onboarding steps that delay your start date. Migrate Mate surfaces verified LCA filing history so you can identify experienced sponsors for this specific role.
Document cross-functional project scope in your resume
H-1B petitions for business analysts often face RFEs questioning whether the role truly requires a specialty degree. Your resume should name specific methodologies, such as Six Sigma or BPMN, and quantify process improvements to show the position goes beyond general management work.
Confirm the employer can file before cap registration
H-1B cap registration opens in March for an October 1 start. If you're interviewing in late winter, ask HR explicitly whether they've registered before and who handles their immigration filings. Employers new to sponsorship sometimes miss the USCIS registration window entirely.
Request premium processing if your project has a hard start
Standard H-1B adjudication runs several months. If your role involves a contract deliverable or system implementation with a fixed go-live date, ask your employer to file Form I-907 for premium processing, which USCIS commits to adjudicating within 15 business days.
H-1B Visa Senior Business Process Analyst: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Business Process Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, industrial engineering, information systems, or a directly related discipline. Generic roles described as requiring any degree may not qualify. Your employer's petition should tie the role's analytical duties, the methodologies applied, and the required education to the specialty occupation standard USCIS uses.
Which SOC code do employers typically use when filing an H-1B LCA for this role?
Most employers file under SOC code 13-1111, Management Analysts, though some use 15-1299 or a business operations code depending on how the role is structured. The SOC code determines which prevailing wage your employer must certify on the LCA with the DOL. You can verify the standard occupational classification and typical requirements through O*NET before your employer submits.
How do I find employers actively sponsoring H-1B visas for business process analyst positions?
Migrate Mate shows LCA filing history by occupation and employer, so you can see which companies have certified wages for business analyst roles in your target metro area. This is more reliable than guessing from job postings alone, since many listings don't disclose sponsorship status until late in the interview process.
Can I transfer my H-1B to a new employer if my Senior Business Process Analyst role changes companies?
Yes. Under H-1B portability rules, you can start working for a new employer as soon as they file a new I-129 petition, without waiting for approval, as long as you've been in valid H-1B status for at least 180 days. The new role must still qualify as a specialty occupation, and the new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL certifying the prevailing wage for your position and location.
What happens to my H-1B status if my employer eliminates the Senior Business Process Analyst role?
You enter a 60-day grace period after your employment ends, during which you can find a new sponsoring employer, change status, or prepare to depart. Your new employer must file an H-1B transfer petition within that window for you to maintain continuous status. If your role was eliminated mid-project, document the termination date carefully, as USCIS counts the grace period from that date, not from when you were notified.
