H-1B1 Chile Visa Prosthodontist Jobs
H-1B1 Chile visa sponsorship for prosthodontists lets Chilean-trained specialists work in the U.S. without entering an H-1B lottery. The 1,400-visa annual cap rarely fills, and your application is processed directly at the consulate. Employers file a Labor Condition Application with DOL, not a petition with USCIS.

INTRODUCTION
PART TIME ASSOCIATE PROSTHODONTIST
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers are a network of dental treatment centers providing innovative and quality dental implant care to patients across the United States. Our purpose is to be a platform of hope for the edentulous and those suffering with acute oral disease. We provide several implant solutions for patients, but we specialize in same-day, full arch fixed implant restorations, all in one facility. As a network, ClearChoice has treated more than 165,000+ patients for full arch solutions and each center completes 30+ arches, per month on average. ClearChoice prosthodontists earn up to 2X to 3X more than their private practice counterparts. Each ClearChoice Center is specialist only, owned and run by prosthodontists who make the clinical decisions, do the patient consults, and perform the day-to-day restorative appointments. Oral surgeons address the surgical needs and place the implants, and each center has a fully-equipped laboratory. This multidisciplinary environment allows patients to be treated most efficiently, all in the same facility. Each center is equipped with modern digital technology, including CBCT scan technology, desktop and IOS scanners, and the Cubex-controlled substance management system. Our world-class management services provide all non-clinical services and delivers full support, so that you can focus on dentistry while we focus on the day-to-day. ClearChoice Management services handle administrative tasks, marketing, finance, human resources, compliance, IT, training, business support, doctor mentorship programs, and much more. All ClearChoice centers have a shared clinical affiliation, providing the opportunity for national collaboration between doctors on procedures, protocols, and clinical experience. The ClearChoice Center National Panel of Doctors meets regularly to share experiences, discuss developments, and coordinate research around dental implant procedures and protocols.

Verify your credential equivalency before applying
Chilean dental schools award titles that U.S. employers and state dental boards need verified. Request a credential evaluation from a NACES-recognized agency and confirm your prosthodontics specialty training maps to U.S. postdoctoral program standards before submitting applications.
Search for sponsors using Migrate Mate
Filter H-1B1 Chile job listings by occupation on Migrate Mate to find employers who have already filed Labor Condition Applications for dental specialists. This targets practices actively willing to sponsor rather than cold outreach to employers unfamiliar with the visa.
Target academic medical centers and group practices
University dental schools and large group practices have in-house HR teams familiar with foreign credential verification and LCA filings. Solo private practices rarely have the administrative infrastructure to sponsor an H-1B1 visa Chile applicant for the first time.
Confirm the prevailing wage tier before accepting an offer
Your employer must certify your salary meets the DOL prevailing wage for your SOC code and work location. Cross-check the offered wage against the OFLC Wage Search before signing anything. An offer below the Level I wage threshold cannot support a valid LCA.
Get the LCA certified before booking your consulate appointment
DOL must certify your employer's LCA before you can apply at the consulate in Santiago. LCA certification typically takes up to seven business days. Scheduling your visa appointment before the certified LCA is in hand creates preventable delays in your start date.
Prepare for consular nonimmigrant intent questions
Unlike H-1B holders, H-1B1 Chile applicants don't have dual intent protection, so the consular officer will assess your ties to Chile. Bring documentation of property, family, or professional ties that establish your intent to return after your authorized stay ends.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does prosthodontics qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B1 Chile?
Yes. Prosthodontics requires a postdoctoral degree in a directly related field, which meets the specialty occupation definition under the U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement. Your employer confirms the position's degree requirement in the LCA. Roles requiring only a general dental degree without specialty training may face more scrutiny during consular review.
How does the H-1B1 Chile visa differ from H-1B for prosthodontists?
The H-1B1 Chile visa has no lottery, no employer petition filed with USCIS, and a separate annual cap of 1,400 visas that has never been exhausted. You apply directly at the U.S. consulate in Santiago after your employer secures a certified LCA from DOL. The H-1B requires a USCIS petition and subjects you to the annual lottery with no guarantee of selection.
How do I find prosthodontist employers who sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Use Migrate Mate to search for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs filtered to prosthodontics and dental specialist roles. Because H-1B1 Chile requires only an LCA rather than a full USCIS petition, some employers who have never sponsored an H-1B may still be willing to support your application once they understand the simpler filing process.
Can my employer file the H-1B1 Chile LCA for a part-time prosthodontist position?
Yes. DOL accepts LCA filings for part-time positions, and the H-1B1 Chile visa does not require full-time employment. Your employer must still certify that the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the occupation and work location. Verify the part-time wage against the OFLC Wage Search to confirm it meets the required threshold before the LCA is submitted.
What happens to my H-1B1 Chile status if I want to change dental practices?
Your H-1B1 Chile status is employer-specific. If you change practices, your new employer must file a new LCA and you must obtain a new visa stamp at the consulate before beginning work. There is no H-1B portability provision for H-1B1 Chile holders, so the transition requires planning to avoid a gap in authorized employment.
