About The Role
As a Product Success Senior Manager you are the architect of our customers’ operational success from day zero. This is a high-impact, 0-1 role where you sit at the intersection of complex accounting, AI implementation, and driving customer outcomes. You aren't just a point of contact or a support resource; you will be a key contributor to our strategic journey to enable businesses with our AI-native accounting platform. You will wield your accounting expertise to work with customers, configure autonomous systems to match deep financial logic, and partner with our Product and GTM Teams to build our deployment playbook. If you want to move fast and translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into radical efficiency for finance leaders, this role is built for you.
- Deploy & Configure AI Financial Agents: Go deep into the technical setup. You will partner directly with founders, accountants, and mid-market Controllers to translate complex accounting policies (like ASC 606) into automated logic. You will directly configure, test, and tune our AI agents and account structures to map flawlessly to their specific business rules and data pipelines.
- Drive Onboarding Strategy & Playbooks: You will run evidence-based tests to identify friction points across varying customer sizes—from agile, founder-led startups to established mid-market clients—building the scalable, repeatable frameworks that dramatically accelerate "Time to Value".
- Bridge Product and Commercial Teams: Act as the ultimate internal customer advocate. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to make sure the voice of the customer is represented in product workflows.
- Master Customer Jobs-to-Be-Done: Become a product expert and understand how our customers can best succeed. With this knowledge you’ll track usage, proactively mitigate risks, identify expansion triggers, and drive long-term platform adoption.
Who You Are
Minimum qualifications:
- Technical Accounting Fluency: A strong background in accounting or finance, with a solid grasp of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and how modern ERPs work. You can effortlessly speak "Accounting" with a Controller and "Data/APIs" with an Engineer.
- Customer-Facing Ownership: Strong experience or desire to work directly with our customers. Experience in customer success, implementations, technical account management, or product operations where you’ve used your accounting background.
- Owner & Value-Driven Mindset: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing complex stakeholder environments and hitting aggressive delivery deadlines. You thrive solving ambiguous and exciting problems.
- AI-Maximalist: A deep passion for emerging technology. You don't just use basic AI tools for simple tasks; you understand how to prompt, configure, and optimize autonomous systems to handle deterministic, complex financial rules.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license or heavy experience auditing (e.g., Big 4) or managing revenue and accounting.
- Data Proficiency: The ability to independently navigate analytics platforms to interpret platform health, onboarding data, and user behavior.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Visa Sponsorship as a Customer Success Manager
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation requirements
H-1B1 Singapore requires your Customer Success Manager role to demand a specific bachelor's degree, not just any degree. If your Singaporean degree is in a field like information systems or communications, document how it directly supports your CSM responsibilities before applying.
Search employers with active H-1B1 filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter Customer Success Manager jobs by employers who have sponsored H-1B1 Singapore visas before. Companies with existing filings already understand the consulate-based process, which removes the education burden from your conversations.
Target SaaS companies that hire internationally at scale
Software-as-a-service companies frequently hire Customer Success Managers globally and have dedicated HR teams experienced with specialty visa categories. Their existing international mobility programs make H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship a familiar process rather than a new undertaking.
Request the Labor Condition Application before your start date
Your employer must file a certified LCA with DOL before you can proceed with your H-1B1 visa consular appointment. Confirm with your hiring contact that LCA preparation has started within two weeks of your accepted offer to avoid delays to your start date.
Use O*NET to validate your role's specialty occupation classification
Customer Success Manager maps to multiple occupation codes under O*NET, and the specific code your employer selects affects how DOL evaluates your LCA prevailing wage requirement. Confirm the job zone classification with your employer before the LCA is submitted.
Prepare for consulate renewal every two years from day one
Unlike H-1B, the H-1B1 Singapore visa doesn't carry automatic status extensions through USCIS. Plan your renewal timeline so your employer can provide an updated LCA and job offer letter at least 90 days before your current visa expires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Customer Success Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B1 Singapore?
Yes, if the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, communications, or information systems. Generic CSM roles that accept any degree regardless of field can create complications at the consulate. Your employer's job description and the LCA filing should explicitly state the required degree and field to support the specialty occupation determination.
How does H-1B1 Singapore compare to H-1B for Customer Success Manager jobs?
H-1B1 Singapore eliminates the lottery entirely and uses consulate processing rather than USCIS petition review, which means faster and more predictable timelines for Singaporean nationals. The annual cap of 5,400 H-1B1 Singapore visas has never been fully used. The trade-off is that H-1B1 doesn't confer dual intent, so you'll need to demonstrate nonimmigrant intent at each renewal.
How can I find Customer Success Manager jobs where employers are open to H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Migrate Mate surfaces Customer Success Manager listings from employers with documented H-1B1 visa and H-1B filing history, so you can focus on companies already familiar with the sponsorship process. Approaching employers who have sponsored international hires before significantly shortens the conversation about visa requirements and employer-side filing obligations.
What does my employer need to file for my H-1B1 Singapore visa as a Customer Success Manager?
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your consular appointment. The LCA confirms the role meets the prevailing wage for Customer Success Manager positions in your work location, which you can verify independently using the OFLC Wage Search tool. No USCIS petition is required for H-1B1 Singapore, which reduces employer paperwork compared to H-1B.
Can I switch Customer Success Manager employers while on H-1B1 Singapore status?
Yes, but the process restarts entirely. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new consular appointment to receive an updated H-1B1 Singapore visa reflecting the new employer. There's no portability provision like the one available under H-1B, so plan for a gap in authorization while the new filing is processed and your appointment is scheduled.
