ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mechanical skills, experience and training are required to disassemble defective machines, engines or engine components for repair, using hand, air or other mechanical tools and reassemble following repair.
- This includes testing, operation and making adjustments, as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Employee will clean and lubricate parts, service vehicle to maintain functionality, repair and replacing defective parts, and fabricate new metal parts.
- Employee will use hand tools, milling, welding equipment, grinders, saws, drill presses, engine lathes, and other machine tools.
- Some troubleshooting and replacement of electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools may be required.
- Work includes driving trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site maintenance and repair of large machinery.

Employee will be responsible for pre-field operation and post-harvest inspections, service and repairs for all farm equipment.
