Most Texas employers expect candidates to have progressed through partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances roles, ideally in the same industry vertical. A bachelor's degree in business or marketing is the standard baseline, and an MBA strengthens competitiveness for senior roles at larger Texas technology or financial services firms.
