KC Cabinetry & Stone supplies and installs kitchen cabinets and countertops for homeowners, builders, and commercial projects across the Kansas City metro, with some work in Columbia and Chillicothe. Our install volume is growing fast and we are building dedicated two-person crews. You will lead one.
What you will do:
- Assemble ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinets on site (for now; this moves to our shop as we grow)
- Lead a two-person crew installing base, wall, and tall cabinets, islands, panels, fillers, rollouts, and crown
- Read plans, check layout, level and scribe to real-world walls and floors
- Train and direct your helper every day
- Protect the home, keep a clean site, and communicate clearly with homeowners and contractors
- Finish every job inside our 10 to 14 business day promise with zero callbacks
What we are looking for:
- 2 or more years of cabinet installation experience (finish or trim carpentry background also considered)
- RTA cabinet assembly experience is a plus
- Experience leading or training a helper
- Your own hand tools and basic power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders
Pay and schedule:
- $26 to $30 per hour starting, based on experience
- Plus per-box performance bonuses and growth opportunities
- Minimum 40 hours per week, with some weekends as needed
- Steady, year-round residential and commercial work
