COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER ASSISTANT
Pay: $22-30/hr
Location: In-office preferred (Granada Hills, CA)

Position Overview:
The Commercial Account Manager Assistant supports our Commercial Account Managers across a full range of policy servicing and administrative work, including applications, certificates, invoicing, endorsements, and account maintenance in Momentum. This role keeps accounts accurate and up to date day to day, coordinates with clients on documentation and payments, and flags coverage or E&S questions to the Account Manager when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Complete applications, supplemental applications, and ACORD forms for new and renewal business
- Send Certificates of Insurance and invoices to clients
- Receive, track, and log endorsements against active policies
- Check policies for accuracy against carrier documents and system records
- Update and maintain accurate account records in Momentum, including endorsements, activity notes, and policy data
- Process routine Farmers portal tasks and system updates
- Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
- Assist with Kraft Lake account servicing tasks, including cancellation processing under Account Manager direction
- Forward premium audit and loss control notices to clients and follow up on missing documentation
- File documents per agency document management standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a commercial insurance department
- Working knowledge of ACORD forms, applications, and supplemental applications
- Proficiency with policy servicing systems (Momentum, Farmers portal, or similar) required; must be able to accurately update accounts, not just enter basic data
- Understanding of invoicing, billing, and payment tracking
- Understanding of policy cancellation procedures
- Active Property & Casualty license required
- Life license strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Some life insurance knowledge or background
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Strong organizational skills; able to support two Account Managers simultaneously without dropping priorities
- Critical thinking to recognize when something needs escalation, not independent resolution
