Insurance Agent Recruiter/Marketing Associate

MESSER Financial Group exists to give independent insurance agents nationwide the tools they need for success. We’re seeking an energetic, reliable, and determined sales, marketing, and recruiting professional to join our marketing team.

What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting independent insurance agents and agencies to join MESSER Financial Group. Your role will be the first point of contact with prospective agents and agencies. The successful candidate will be someone who can quickly build a natural rapport with a diverse group of individuals. Our partnering insurance agents come from all walks of life and serve a variety of communities.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to clearly articulate the value of partnering with our organization, be solution focused, offer sound business decisions, and operate quickly under tight deadlines. Some regional travel may be required. Other duties that align to agent/agency recruitment may be assigned by a department manager.

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum of two years of experience in a sales/marketing role, will consider cross-experience in other industries.
• Tele-Sales and recruitment experience, including outbound phone campaigns
• Meticulous attention to detail for assigned tasks and processes
• Ability to work autonomously with little assigned direction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of ACA and Medicare insurance products
• Active health and life insurance license
• Bilingual with fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal is a plus. Other languages considered

• Bilingual – Spanish

This is an in-office, full-time, hourly position with overtime required as needed. Business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay, with an annual target base of $68,000 - $76,000. Total compensation includes a 15% annual profit-sharing bonus based upon the company’s financial performance, as well as Quarterly Bonus Opportunities.
