JOB DETAILS
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, modify, troubleshoot, and execute programs within CNC machine controllers
- Support Fanuc CNC integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Work with PLCs, ladder logic, servo systems, VFDs, and digital/analog control systems
- Diagnose and repair CNC, robotic, electrical, and automation equipment
- Define electronic control requirements for manufacturing equipment
- Assist with machine upgrades, automation projects, and new equipment installations
- Coordinate CNC controller programming and machine networking initiatives
- Support electrical and controls aspects of tooling and equipment design
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, IT, and skilled trades teams to improve manufacturing performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on controls engineering experience
- Experience programming and troubleshooting CNC machinery, PLCs, and industrial automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with industrial networking, Ethernet communications, and machine connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems
- Experience with Fanuc controls highly preferred
- CNC machining experience is a plus
- AutoCAD or other CAD experience preferred
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities
