INTRODUCTION
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The role works with global teams and manages IT application projects such as ERP (SAP), MES, cloud solutions, integrations, and other software implementations. The position may handle standalone projects or work as part of a larger program.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT projects and ensure delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Work with business teams to understand and document requirements.
- Define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Create and maintain project plans.
- Guide project team members and coordinate their tasks.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress.
- Identify risks and issues; propose and implement mitigation actions.
- Handle delays or unexpected issues and adjust plans as needed.
- Follow IT security policies and PMO standards.
- Lead steering committee meetings and provide updates.
- Prepare and execute communication plans for stakeholders.
- Assess business impact and support change management activities.
- Organize meetings, assign responsibilities, and coordinate with internal and external teams.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Jira) to monitor progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced certifications (PMP, Agile, SAFe) are an added advantage.
- Strong program or project management experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in Pharma industry is an advantage.
- Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe) preferred.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Good understanding of project management processes and methods.
- Knowledge of GxP validation for computerized systems.
- Experience with waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery models.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Comfortable working in a complex international environment.
- Ability to motivate and guide teams to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (PROJECT-SPECIFIC):
- Experience leading eCommerce projects (e.g., customer portals).
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Experience with system integration between Website, CRM, ERP, and Marketing Automation tools.
- Understanding of B2B and B2C eCommerce processes.
- Strong experience with Agile methodology and tools.
