Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Role
Location: On-site from Dallas, Texas
Industry: Wealth Management Technology / Fintech
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the internal IT team of a U.S.-based wealth management technology platform. You will work the support queue alongside the team while contributing hands-on to infrastructure and security work — identity, endpoint compliance, and zero trust practices.
The environment moves quickly, with changes rolled out through pilots and phased deployments. It suits someone who is as comfortable resolving a ticket as testing a policy change before it reaches everyone, and who leaves documentation behind so the next person does not have to ask.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute hands-on to infrastructure and security deployments: device enrollment campaigns, configuration and policy changes, validation testing, and phased rollouts
- Participate in pilot and early-adopter programs, testing changes and documenting issues before they reach the wider organization
- Work the IT queue in Jira Service Management and Slack: triage, resolve, escalate, and see requests through to closure
- Handle identity and access work in Okta: group assignments, app access, MFA enrollment and resets, SSO troubleshooting
- Administer Google Workspace day to day: accounts, groups, shared drives, delegation, and common Gmail and Drive issues
- Provide endpoint support across macOS and Windows, including enrollment, troubleshooting, and device compliance
- Build documentation and self-service resources that make common requests easier to resolve
Basic Qualifications
- Advanced English, written and verbal
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where changes ship in pilots and phases
- Clear technical writing, with the discipline to document as you go
- Ownership over requests end to end, including knowing when to escalate
Technical Requirements
- 3+ years in IT support, helpdesk, or IT operations in a fast-moving environment
- Hands-on administration of an identity platform (Okta and/or Google Workspace preferred, any IdP considered): user and group management, MFA, app assignments, sign-on troubleshooting
- Hands-on endpoint support across macOS and Windows, including enrollment and device compliance
- Working knowledge of zero trust concepts: identity as the perimeter, device trust, least privilege, and how device identity factors into access decisions
Things to keep in mind!
- Compensation: $90,000 – $115,000 / year. Individual base pay within the posted range is determined by multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship, transfer, or extension of work authorization now or in the future.
- Equal Opportunity: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion at our company. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
