Optical Lab Technician — Training Provided

Are you good with your hands? Do you like to tinker, fix things, and figure out how things work? Are you someone who notices the little details that other people miss?

Adair Eyewear is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented person to join our optical lab team.

No optical lab experience is required—we are willing to train the right person.

As an Optical Lab Technician, you'll work behind the scenes to turn lens orders and frames into beautifully finished eyewear. You'll learn how to measure, cut, edge, inspect, adjust, and repair eyewear while working with some very small and precise components.

Optical experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We're much more interested in your aptitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Experience in jewelry, watch repair, electronics, sewing, crafts, automotive work, manufacturing, dental assisting, model building, or other precision-oriented work can translate well to this position.

What you'll learn to do:

• Inspect and measure lenses
• Cut and edge lenses
• Tint lenses
• Perform quality-control inspections
• Repair and adjust frames
• Replace small screws and frame components
• Modify frames
• Operate and maintain lab equipment
• Prepare completed eyewear for dispensing
• Work with the optical team to ensure orders move smoothly through the lab
