Entry Level Logistics Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level logistics coordinator job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who understand supply chain fundamentals, can communicate clearly across teams, and are comfortable working with spreadsheets or logistics software. Internship experience, coursework in supply chain or operations, and any hands-on exposure to inventory, shipping, or procurement give you a real edge. Tailoring your resume to show attention to detail and follow-through on time-sensitive tasks makes a strong first impression.
Which companies hire entry level logistics coordinators?
Companies hiring entry level logistics coordinators right now include Expeditors International Of Washington, Amazon, and STN Incorporated, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including distributors, retailers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers who regularly bring on junior coordinators to support their operations teams.
Are there remote entry level logistics coordinator jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level are on-site given the hands-on nature of the work. About 5% of entry level logistics coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, typically at companies where coordination happens digitally across suppliers, carriers, or vendors rather than on a warehouse floor or dock.
Are these new grad logistics coordinator jobs?
Yes, these include new grad, recent graduate, and junior logistics coordinator roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time history, or lists logistics software training as part of onboarding. If a job description emphasizes learning and growth over an established background, it is built for candidates entering the field.
Which industries hire the most entry level logistics coordinators?
Entry Level logistics coordinator roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026.
