Position Overview:
The Supply & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible and accountable for assisting in the production and distribution of Type I and Type IV deicing / anti-icing fluids as well as sales of recycled propylene glycol from Inland facilities. This includes raw material and production scheduling, inventory monitoring, customer service, product delivery, and customer invoicing. This position requires knowledge of the chemical distribution industry, especially inventory management, production scheduling, supply of raw materials, and coordination of trucking for deliveries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

- Promoting and adhering to our safety and respectful workplace culture and instilling this culture at all stations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with all industry standards, customer program requirements and provincial and federal rules and regulations;
- Abide by Inland’s procedural manuals, operational plans, and directives of management to ensure that all work is done according to specifications and/or regulations;
- Determine appropriate inventory levels of Type I and Type IV deicing/anti-icing fluids and schedule production;
- Coordinates supply of raw materials to meet production schedules;
- Receives and processes customer product orders;
- Ensures appropriate maintenance and recording of sales orders and purchase orders;
- Promotes consistent reinforcement and adherence to Inland Fluids’ mission, values and purpose;
- Takes proper measures to be sure that all production and distribution activities meet product stewardship guidelines for quality and traceability;
- Maintains all production and transportation records for potential audits and ensures that all activities are conducted to guarantee the highest level of employee and equipment safety for protection of assets, sustaining regulatory compliance and support company mission, values and purpose;
- Ad hoc support of aviation fluid projects;
- Perform/complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in inventory Management, Logistics, or Business Management preferred;
- Knowledge and experience relevant to the chemical distribution industry considered an asset;
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Knowledge of Sage 300 a plus;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to listen to others and value opinions, interpret information, promote and execute ideas, prepare reports and presentations, and provide foundation of open communications;
- High degree of initiative and drive to succeed;
- High level of energy and sense of urgency;
- Technical, analytical focus;
- Ability to make decisions based on defined policies and procedures;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player with ability to lead a team in meeting goals and follow through on project deadlines;
- Ability to lead projects as assigned by the Director that includes being accountable to follow through on identified tasks assigned, reporting on status of project, coordinating a timeline of tasks and deadlines that is updated weekly, reviewing project progression and providing post-project report to review successes/failures and improvements for future undertakings;
- Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple projects and conflicting deadlines simultaneously;
- Ability to work evenings weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.

- Valid driver’s license.

- There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Work Environment:
- The Supply & Logistics Specialist will work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment;
- There will be times when the Supply & Logistics Specialist will be required to work outside of their normal work schedule, so that we may meet the needs of our customers and/or operational requirements.
Physical Demands:
- Position involves remaining seated for extended periods of time using a computer keyboard and mouse;
- Must be able to speak clearly and hear efficiently;
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus;
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
Travel:
- Ability to travel 10% or more of the time;
- Availability to travel on short notice to meet immediate business needs may be required.
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain all security clearances required by Transport Canada or TSA and/or local Airport Authorities;
- Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings.
