INTRODUCTION
The Quality & Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for leading a culture where safety, quality and productivity are top priorities. This role includes assessing, monitoring, and improving processes that directly impact the business performance and ensure customer satisfaction and system compliance.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Analyze plant and company processes and procedures
- Manage production reporting including Solstice, AX, and SQL data systems, as well as future initiatives taken on by the company.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance data and processes to improve productivity, cost-efficiency, and quality.
- Develop, enhance and evaluate KPI’s/targets and key improvement plans to meet/exceed target goals that create financial value to the Company.
- Measures quality and productivity standards and develops continuous improvement strategies and programs with department staff to enhance and improve productivity, efficiency, profitability, overall performance and reduce waste.
- Manages the Idea Bank Team of the North Carolina plant and support operations in implementing improvements ideas.
- Partner with Production Managers to provide support with customer complaint investigations and act as a liaison to communicate corrective actions to customer and production team
- Partner with Quality Manager for BRCGS Systems Certification
- Conduct Weekly Meetings for action item follow-up and assign tasks to drive “Action List” and results
- As Quality & Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you may assume the roles/responsibilities and perform/delegate tasks of the Quality Manager in their absence
- Monitors quality trends of product and collaborates with QC Team & Production Managers to eliminate any quality deficiencies
- Supports any efforts to maintain high-quality standards as defined by BRCGS and other plant-wide initiatives to help the parent-company, local company and the department
- Travels to customer sites to resolve quality issues as needed
- Performs all other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in process optimization, operations, manufacturing, quality, data analysis, or continuous improvement environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables) and Word
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to support performance improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with ERP systems, reporting tools, or databases (e.g., AX, SQL) is a plus
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment performance; experience with label applications or similar production environments preferred
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
