ROLE
Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Warehouse
On-Site: M-F 7:30am-4pm, Weekend & After-Hours Availability Required
ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance professional to oversee the day-to-day operation of our company facilities, drive operational efficiency, and ensure our work environments are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring all spaces meet company standards for safety, functionality, and compliance with building codes.
- Estimate labor and material costs for construction, repairs, and facility improvement projects; develop and manage facilities plans from concept through completion.
- Perform and oversee general maintenance and repair duties including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and space reconfigurations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with outside vendors, contractors, and suppliers, managing relationships, scopes of work, and performance to deliver quality outcomes.
- Review and evaluate design costs, labor estimates, and material specifications during facility planning to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop performance criteria and specifications for facilities and equipment to meet operational requirements, safety codes, and building regulations.
- Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency with a focus on environmental sustainability and reducing natural resource consumption.
- Assist employees with internal office moves and workspace reconfigurations as needed.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to junior facilities staff, providing guidance on complex or non-routine maintenance challenges.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align facilities operations with organizational needs and long-term planning goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of facilities management or maintenance experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a facilities-specific role.
- Hands-on expertise across multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Proven ability to estimate project costs, manage vendor contracts, and oversee construction or repair projects end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards.
- Experience developing and implementing sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce resource consumption.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with limited oversight.
- Strong communication and influencing skills — able to work across functions and present recommendations to leadership.
- Formal training or certifications in one or more skilled trades is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $88,700.00 - $150,800.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
