ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manufacturing Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in our production facility by managing high-speed bag conversion lines to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality paper products. You will be responsible for optimizing machine performance and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards to drive our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage bag-making machinery and auxiliary equipment to transform raw paper materials into finished goods.
- Interpret production dockets and technical specifications to ensure accurate output and print quality.
- Execute machine setups, including loading paper stock and calibrating cylinders, ink distribution, and tension settings.
- Proactively troubleshoot mechanical stoppages to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections throughout the production cycle to ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards.
- Maintain precise production logs and documentation to support operational transparency.
- Uphold a high standard of workplace organization and safety protocols to foster a secure environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to operate industrial machinery and perform mechanical adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex technical instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in a paper converting or high-speed manufacturing environment.
