Land-Grant Brewing Company is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing content strategies, executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing email marketing initiatives, and driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across Land-Grant’s digital platforms, products, events, and taproom experiences.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Strategy, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in translating broader business and brand objectives into actionable marketing initiatives. This position will oversee day-to-day marketing execution, coordinate content development, and lead promotional efforts supporting beer releases, taproom experiences, events, merchandise, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, strong communicator, and proactive problem-solver who understands how to turn ideas into effective marketing campaigns. They should have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, consumer engagement, and brand storytelling, along with the organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This person will help bring the Land-Grant brand to life through thoughtful storytelling, engaging campaigns, and strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen customer relationships, drive taproom traffic, and support continued business growth.

This is a full-time, salaried position in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Campaign Development & Execution: Execute integrated marketing campaigns across social media, email, websites, paid advertising, and in-taproom channels. Manage campaign timelines, creative deliverables, messaging, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure successful execution and measurable results.
• Email Marketing & Customer Engagement: Develop and execute email marketing initiatives, including newsletters, product launches, event promotions, and targeted campaigns. Oversee content creation, scheduling, audience segmentation, and subscriber growth while identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement, retention, and repeat visitation.
• Event & Taproom Marketing: Develop and execute promotional strategies for major events, recurring programming, seasonal activations, and taproom experiences. Coordinate marketing across digital platforms, email, on-site signage, and partner channels while collaborating with internal teams to increase attendance, drive taproom traffic, and support revenue growth.
• Beer & Product Marketing: Develop and execute marketing campaigns supporting core beers, seasonal releases, limited-edition products, and merchandise. Collaborate with brewing, sales, and retail teams to coordinate product launches, creative assets, and promotional initiatives that strengthen consumer awareness and support sales and distribution growth.
• Marketing Coordination & Performance Reporting: Manage marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and project deliverables while coordinating with internal teams and external partners. Monitor campaign performance, maintain accurate website content, and provide regular reporting and recommendations to support marketing objectives and continuous improvement.
• Event Planning + Execution: Own the planning and execution of Land-Grant’s larger pinnacle events, including Jeni’s x Land-Grant Strawberry Jam, Columbus Cocktail Festival, Land-Grant’s Oktoberfest, and other major campus-wide experiences. This includes supporting event timelines, vendor communication, partner coordination, logistics, staffing needs, day-of execution, guest experience, and post-event recaps

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably with experience managing campaigns, digital marketing channels, and content strategy.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and how to develop content strategies tailored to each.
• Experience managing email marketing platforms, developing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling messaging across different marketing channels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple campaigns, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Experience with content planning, creative direction, and coordinating photo, video, and graphic design deliverables.
• Proficiency with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Experience in the craft beer, beverage, hospitality, retail, or consumer packaged goods industries is preferred.
• Ability to think both strategically and creatively while remaining detail-oriented and execution-focused.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through completion.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends to support key brand initiatives, product launches, and major events as needed.
