Senior Level Marketing Operations Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level marketing operations manager job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who have owned the marketing technology stack end-to-end, led attribution and revenue reporting, and influenced go-to-market strategy beyond tactical execution. Demonstrating that you have built or overhauled systems, managed vendor relationships, and mentored junior operations staff gives you a clear edge. A strong portfolio of measurable outcomes, such as pipeline improvements or shortened sales cycles, closes most conversations.
Which companies hire senior level marketing operations managers?
Companies hiring senior level marketing operations managers right now include SAMYANG AMERICA, Kohl's, and Stripe, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from mid-size to enterprise organizations that have mature marketing functions and need experienced operators to own strategy and systems, not just maintain them.
Are there remote senior level marketing operations manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid availability is strong at this level. About 47% of senior level marketing operations manager openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed marketing and revenue operations teams have become. Senior roles often attract flexible arrangements because the work centers on systems, data, and cross-functional alignment rather than physical presence.
What makes a marketing operations manager role senior level?
Senior level roles are defined by ownership, not just execution. Where a mid-level marketing operations manager maintains systems and runs campaigns, a senior professional sets the technology roadmap, defines attribution methodology, and partners directly with sales, finance, and executive leadership on pipeline strategy. Mentoring junior team members and leading major platform migrations or organizational initiatives are standard expectations at this stage.
Which industries hire the most senior level marketing operations managers?
Senior level marketing operations manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Distribution & Wholesale, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they operate complex, data-intensive marketing functions where experienced ownership of the full revenue operations stack directly affects growth outcomes.
