What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who treats Amazon as a business, not simply a sales channel. The right person should be able to open Seller Central in the morning, understand what is happening across the portfolio, identify problems and opportunities, prioritize what matters, and work across the organization to get things done. This role requires someone who can operate independently, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-moving environment where we're actively building the infrastructure and team required to scale our Ecommerce business.

Mid Level Marketplace Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level marketplace manager job?
Position yourself around ownership: highlight campaigns or platform features you managed from start to finish, metrics you moved, and decisions you made without heavy guidance. Tailor your resume to show category growth, seller or vendor management wins, and cross-functional collaboration. Recruiters at this level want proof you operate independently, not just that you supported someone else's work.
Which companies hire mid level marketplace managers?
Companies hiring mid level marketplace managers right now include Ramp, eBay, and Apple, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from e-commerce platforms, retail companies with digital marketplace arms, and technology firms building or scaling third-party seller ecosystems.
Are there remote mid level marketplace manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid opportunities are common at this experience level. About 40% of mid level marketplace manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the day-to-day work, seller communication, data analysis, and campaign management, can be done without being on-site.
How do I move up to a mid level marketplace manager role?
The path from entry level to mid level comes from consistently taking on more ownership over time. That means moving beyond task execution to managing a category, vendor relationship, or campaign independently, documenting measurable outcomes like revenue growth or improved seller metrics, and building fluency with marketplace analytics tools. Professionals who seek out stretch assignments and lead small projects tend to make this transition faster.
Which industries hire the most mid level marketplace managers?
Mid Level marketplace manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they operate large, active marketplaces where experienced managers are needed to grow seller bases, optimize listings, and manage platform performance at scale.
