Key Responsibilities
- Leads thin film/coating development and designs process DOEs to get the coating and materials property to meet requirements.
- Leads thin film/coating, and materials characterizations.
- Responsible to thin film/coating defects control.
- Work with variety teams to do quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action. Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
Functional Knowledge
- Regarded as the technical expert in the following technical areas
- Materials science, Chemistry and various coatings processes, such thermal CVD.
- Fabrication and manufacturing of coating coated semiconductor components
- Modeling for thermal and gas flow
- Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
- Material analysis and characterization as well as surface analysis of films and coatings.
- Failure analysis for structural integrity of coatings related components
Leadership
- May lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
Problem Solving
- Leads others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
- Understanding and use of various problem solving methodologies, such as 8D, six sigma, etc.
Education:
Master's Degree a must (Ph.D. preferred) at Materials science, Chemistry or Physics science

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
