INTRODUCTION
Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines and related mechanical systems in trucks, equipment, and vehicles. This role requires expertise in engine systems, a strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, and hands-on experience with repair work. The mechanic will ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime for the business.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Proven experience as a mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of engine systems, including fuel, exhaust, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used for engine performance testing.
- Experience in preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical certification (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and work with heavy equipment.
- Comfort working in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform manual labor.
