Quick and Clean Carwash is a locally owned car wash . We take pride in keeping our equipment running smoothly so every customer leaves with a clean car. We're looking for a hands-on mechanic who can keep our site running and help stop problems before they start.
What You'll Do
- Do preventive maintenance on all wash equipment: conveyors, brushes, wraps, blowers, dryers, and arches
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain pumps, motors, valves, water reclaim systems, and RO/water softener systems
- Calibrate and refill chemical dispensing systems
- Repair and service pay stations, gates, and vacuum systems
- Keep maintenance logs and track parts inventory
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to keep downtime low
- Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
What We're Looking For
- [2+] years of experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician (car wash, industrial, or facilities experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of basic electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Able to read schematics and use multimeters and hand and power tools
- Works well alone and manages time well
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in wet, outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Nice to have: experience with [Sonny's, PDQ, MacNeil, Ryko, or your equipment brand], PLC experience, welding
