We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair, inspect and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and auto body repairs a plus.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics meticulously for service and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and powertrain components.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery.
- Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and auto body repair techniques is advantageous.
- Valid certification or licensing as an automotive technician; ASE certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
