- Lead early-stage project qualification, specification development, and logistics planning for data center mechanical systems.
- Support project estimating by reviewing specifications and coordinating with procurement teams.
- Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Identify opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration to enhance service offerings and support business growth.
- Contribute to technical documentation, proposals, and project specifications with advanced technical writing skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mission-critical mechanical infrastructure and mechanical design.
- Extensive expertise in the design, specification, and deployment of mechanical systems for data centers.
- Strong understanding of data center facility operations and mechanical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines.
- Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, including field operations and executive leadership.
- Experience with leading mechanical providers such as Vertiv, Stulz, York, and Daikin preferred.
- Prior experience managing large enterprise accounts within the data center industry preferred.
- Familiarity with commissioning procedures for mission-critical facilities preferred.
- Strong project management and business development skills.
- Advanced technical writing skills for documentation and proposals.
- Master Mechanical License preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Offered compensation: $130,000/yr - $200,000/yr
