Role Description
This is a part time to full time on-site role for a Medical Assistant with OB GYN or Fertility experience, located in La Jolla, San Diego, CA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for various tasks including assisting in medical procedures, managing patient records, providing patient care, and ensuring smooth operation of the medical office. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling patients, respond to online inquiries, managing medical records, preparing patients for procedures, phlebotomy, coordinating and assisting with IVF treatments, and providing compassionate support to patients throughout their fertility journey.
**** PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION****
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology
- Experienced in managing Medical Office operations and Medical Records
- Experience in Phlebotomy
- Attention to details and Organizational skill are required
- GYN and Fertility experience is a plus
- Strong Patient Care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially in answering patients inquiries
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional medical training or education
- Enthusiastic to learn, work in a start up environment.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
