Ensures adherence to all applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency requirements. Exercises independent judgment in recognizing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems as part of daily job responsibilities.
Education
- Associate of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
- Successful completion of an accredited internship program and MLT registry examination, or registry eligible.
Experience
- Clinical experience obtained through completion of program requirements qualifying the candidate of registry examination.
Certification
- Nationally recognized certification preferred, such as MLT (ASCP).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Basic computer proficiency preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
