How do I get a mental health technician job in Syracuse?

Which companies hire mental health technicians in Syracuse?

The local market is anchored by large hospital systems, nonprofit behavioral health agencies, and residential group home operators that serve Central New York's broad catchment area.
Are there remote mental health technician jobs in Syracuse?
Yes, though sparingly, because most mental health technician work is hands-on and requires direct patient contact. About 0% of mental health technician openings tied to Syracuse are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated mainly in care coordination, telehealth support, and administrative intake roles rather than direct floor or residential care positions.
How can I get a mental health technician job in Syracuse with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Syracuse is through residential group homes and crisis respite programs, which regularly hire candidates with a high school diploma and a willingness to work overnight or weekend shifts.
