Entry Level National Account Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level national account executive job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate relationship-building skills, comfort with sales processes, and some exposure to account management through internships, coursework, or campus sales programs. Highlighting any client-facing experience, even in retail or customer service, helps. A polished resume that shows communication skills and results, however small, gives entry level candidates a real edge over applicants who rely on credentials alone.
Which companies hire entry level national account executives?
Companies hiring entry level national account executives right now include Synertex, Allied Universal, and C&S Wholesale Grocers, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from consumer goods companies, staffing firms, technology vendors, and distributors that run structured sales development programs designed to bring in and train junior talent.
Are there remote entry level national account executive jobs?
Yes, though most entry level roles still favor on-site or hybrid arrangements while candidates build client relationships. About 29% of entry level national account executive openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site work in major markets will find the widest selection of opportunities at this experience level.
Are these new grad national account executive jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior national account executive roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or campus involvement in lieu of full-time history, and does not require an existing book of business. Look for language like "entry level," "training provided," or "recent graduates encouraged to apply" as signals that a role is open to candidates just starting out.
Which industries hire the most entry level national account executives?
Entry Level national account executive roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Distribution & Wholesale, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely on high-volume account portfolios and use structured onboarding programs to develop junior sales professionals from the ground up rather than requiring prior industry experience.
