INTRODUCTION
Banner – University Medical Group Tucson and the Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with interest or subspecialty training in Cognitive Neurology, Behavioral Neurology, or Memory Disorders to join our growing clinical faculty.
This is a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized program supporting the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute (BAI) and its expanding footprint in Southern Arizona. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and advancing a comprehensive memory disorders program focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily outpatient-focused practice in memory disorders and cognitive neurology
- Evaluate and manage patients with Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, Lewy body dementia, and related neurodegenerative conditions
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care model including neurology, geriatrics, psychiatry, neuropsychology, and care navigation
- Opportunity to participate in clinical research, clinical trials, and innovative care models through Banner Alzheimer’s Institute
- Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson commensurate with experience
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training or clinical experience in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology, Geriatric Neurology, or related field preferred
- Interest in outpatient memory disorders and longitudinal patient care
- Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration
