Mid Level Neurologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level neurologist job?
Lead your application with concrete clinical ownership: independent management of a neurology caseload, procedures you've performed without direct supervision, and any quality improvement or care-protocol work you've contributed to. Highlight subspecialty exposure, fellowship training if applicable, and board certification status. Hiring managers at this level want evidence of autonomous practice, not just years logged.
Which companies hire mid level neurologists?
Companies hiring mid level neurologists right now include University of Florida, ECU Health, and Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY), based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers large health systems, multispecialty medical groups, academic medical centers, and outpatient neurology practices looking for clinicians who can carry a full panel independently.
Are there remote mid level neurologist jobs?
Yes, though most neurology roles remain on-site given the hands-on nature of the specialty. About 0% of mid level neurologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with remote positions largely concentrated in teleneurology, utilization review, and neurological consulting roles that don't require direct patient examination.
How do I move up to a mid level neurologist role?
Moving into a mid level neurologist role requires building a record of independent clinical decision-making over your early years. That means taking increasing ownership of patient panels, mastering core diagnostic and procedural competencies, seeking subspecialty exposure, and demonstrating measurable impact through outcomes or process contributions. Clinicians who can show they've functioned with reduced supervision consistently earn consideration at this level.
Which industries hire the most mid level neurologists?
Mid Level neurologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Non-Profit & Social Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive hiring because they operate the clinical infrastructure, inpatient units, and outpatient programs where mid level neurologists carry significant independent patient care responsibility.
