Mid Level Neuropsychologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level neuropsychologist job?
Position yourself around ownership and independent judgment, not just experience hours. Highlight the complexity of cases you have managed, any supervision or training responsibilities you have taken on, and your proficiency with specific assessment batteries. Applications that demonstrate you can operate with minimal clinical oversight and contribute to multidisciplinary teams tend to stand out at this level.
Which companies hire mid level neuropsychologists?
Companies hiring mid level neuropsychologists right now include Baptist Health South Florida, OU Health, and Sutter Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers large health systems, rehabilitation networks, academic medical centers, and specialty behavioral health groups that need clinicians who can carry a full caseload independently.
Are there remote mid level neuropsychologist jobs?
Yes, though the field remains largely in-person due to the hands-on nature of neuropsychological testing. About 0% of mid level neuropsychologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with telehealth roles typically focused on clinical interviews, feedback sessions, and report writing rather than full assessment batteries.
How do I move up to a mid level neuropsychologist role?
Growth from entry level into mid level comes from accumulating breadth in assessment tools and patient populations, then progressively taking ownership of cases without close supervision. Clinicians who seek out complex referrals, document measurable diagnostic contributions, and begin mentoring practicum students or newer staff tend to reach mid level standing faster than those who stay within a narrow scope.
