American Traveler is hiring a Practice Manager (RN Leadership) for a 13-week Family Medicine practice assignment requiring an active IL RN license and prior leadership experience.
Details
- Family Medicine practice spanning multiple locations
- Manages approximately 15 associates, 7 physicians, and 21 residents
- Epic EMR used for both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings
- Day shift schedule from 08:00-16:30
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or management experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Serves as liaison between practice physicians, office employees, and other clinical and administrative areas
- Develops growth strategies and business plans in cooperation with practice physicians and leadership
- Supports financial, budget, and business goals for the practice
- Ensures adequate staffing to meet provider work schedule demands
- May assist with development and implementation of physician compensation systems
- Monitors billing and collection functions
- Oversees daily operations including services, site policies, staff development, and patient flow
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution
- Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll functions
- Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations
- Assesses and coordinates quality of patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other providers
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
