State agency positions may require passing a civil service assessment through the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services before placement.

Which Oklahoma cities have the most office clerk jobs?
Tulsa, Claremore, and Vance AFB have the most office clerk openings in Oklahoma. Oklahoma City dominates because it is home to the state capitol, major hospital systems, and large corporate headquarters, while Tulsa's concentration of energy firms and regional medical centers drives strong secondary demand, and smaller cities reflect hiring at local government offices and community health facilities.
Are there remote office clerk jobs in Oklahoma?
Yes, but they're less common than in purely digital roles, since office clerks often handle physical documents, mail, and in-person coordination. About 0% of office clerk openings tied to Oklahoma are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a market where some data entry and billing functions have shifted off-site. Large employers like INTEGRIS Health and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center run administrative associate programs that onboard candidates with no prior office experience.
