About the Team
DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last mile logistics in the long term. If you want to work on commercializing autonomy and robotics in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you!
About the Role
We're looking for a Logistics & Front Desk Associate to own inbound and outbound package flow, while also serving as a key front-of-house presence at our front desk. This hybrid role ensures every package, shipment, and delivery is tracked, sorted, and delivered to the right person or team — without loss or delay — while providing a professional, welcoming front desk experience for employees, candidates, and visitors.
You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Facilities, and engineering teams to eliminate lost packages, cut down search time, and stand up a single, well-organized shipping/receiving location for the office.
The Logistics & Front Desk Associate will report to the Supply Chain Lead.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Serve as the primary owner of all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving for the office, establishing and maintaining a dedicated, well-labeled shipping/receiving location
- Receive, log, sort, and route packages, mail, and freight to the correct recipient, team, or storage area
- Coordinate outbound shipments, including carrier pickups, labeling, and documentation
- Maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs and reconcile discrepancies
- Serve as a front desk ambassador: greet and check in visitors, employees, and candidates; manage sign-ins and badges; answer and route calls and inquiries
- Direct and control the flow of foot traffic into the office, including vendors and Dashers dropping off deliveries
- Support day-to-day office and facilities operations, submitting and tracking work order tickets as needed
- Partner with Supply Chain, Facilities, and Engineering to continuously improve package intake, storage, and hand-off processes
- Provide basic purchasing/procurement support (e.g., Coupa, Brex) and reconcile receipts and invoices related to shipments
We're excited about you because…
- You have 1+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, mailroom, warehouse, logistics, or front desk/office coordination
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable being the first point of contact for guests and employees
- You can juggle multiple priorities — packages, visitors, and admin tasks — in a fast-paced environment
- You're comfortable with everyday office and procurement systems and technology (Google Workspace, Slack, visitor management, Coupa, Brex, or similar)
- You're able to lift and move packages up to 40 lbs as part of daily shipping/receiving duties
- You bring sound judgment, discretion, and a customer-focused mindset to everything you do
Bonus points…
- Experience in a tech startup or fast-paced corporate environment
- Familiarity with procurement/inventory systems (Coupa, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
- Experience with facilities coordination or workplace experience roles
- Forklift certification or demonstrated warehouse safety training
- Experience supporting hardware, robotics, or R&D teams with inventory or parts handling
We expect this position to be filled by 17/11/2026
