Operations Coordinator — Highridge Landscapes
$55,000–$70,000 salary | Full-time | Bozeman, Montana | Reports to the General Manager
Highridge Landscapes is hiring an Operations Coordinator to keep our field and office work moving cleanly. This role is for someone who likes structure, accuracy, follow-through, and building systems that make a busy landscape company run better.
Is this you?
If you are organized, steady under pressure, comfortable with software, and willing to be present with crews in the morning before moving into office execution, this may be a strong fit. You do not need every process handed to you perfectly. You need to be able to take a defined starting point, build a usable system, and keep recurring work from slipping.
The work
You will support the General Manager and Division Managers by handling the admin and operational details that slow field leaders down when they are left unmanaged. That includes daily crew time entry in Aspire, purchase-order tracking, office communication, client satisfaction surveys, employee recognition coordination, benefits-question routing, SOP documentation, and practical use of AI tools to make recurring admin work faster and cleaner.
This is not a passive desk job. You will be expected to be present in the yard with crews for the morning huddle, understand the pace of the field, and then turn that information into accurate records, clear follow-up, and repeatable systems.
What success looks like
- Crew time is clean every week. Daily time is entered in Aspire, discrepancies are caught early, and there are no unresolved weekend surprises before payroll close.
- Division Managers get real admin relief. Purchase orders, recurring tasks, office inquiries, survey routing, and document requests are tracked through completion instead of sitting in someone's head.
- Client feedback is visible fast. Surveys go out after job completion and invoice delivery, responses are logged within 24 hours, and scores or concerns are routed to the right leader.
- Processes become repeatable. SOPs, templates, reports, and AI-assisted documentation help the company improve instead of rebuilding the same work over and over.
Where it goes
A strong Operations Coordinator can grow into broader operations administration, office systems ownership, AI-enabled process improvement, and higher-level coordination as Highridge continues to scale. We will not promise a title before it is earned, but this seat is built for someone who wants to create order, take ownership, and grow with the company.
Why Highridge
Highridge is building a service-first landscape company where timeliness, quality, and caring are not just words. We expect consistency, integrity, trust, understanding, and respect. We also expect no excuses, no BS: if something is missing, unclear, late, or broken, we name it and move it forward.
What we provide
- A real operating seat reporting to the General Manager.
- Access to Aspire, LeanScaper, AI tools, office systems, and company documentation.
- A clear first 90-day ramp built around time entry, surveys, procurement tracking, SOPs, and recurring task ownership.
- A company that values systems, accountability, and people who make work easier for the team around them.
This isn't for you if…
- You need repeated reminders to complete recurring work.
- You are uncomfortable with software, spreadsheets, AI tools, or learning new systems.
- You wait until a deadline has passed to raise a problem.
- You create notes or files that only you can understand.
- You do not want to interact with field crews, managers, vendors, clients, and employees.
- You want a role where everything is already fully built and your job is only to follow instructions.
